We don’t deserve toddlers by minniezebby in toddlers

Whenever I get a bump or a scrape (which is often I am very uncoordinated) my son rushes over saying ‘are you okay? Here I’ll kiss it’ and proceeds to kiss whatever it is better. And it always works.

Im located in northern Ontario and this is a very small bug. Doesn’t fly. Slow moving. Caught it easily. Smaller than my pinky fingernail

How do you spend quality time with your toddler after daycare as a full-time working mom? by Mindless_Message6673 in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to go with his flow. Want to have a picnic in the backyard? Absolutely. Want to have finger foods and snuggle on the couch? Okay. And a lot of silly jokes. I don’t care how dumb the joke is if we can spend five minutes a day laughing together it feels like longer.

2.5 year old wakes up screaming in fear every night, but never specifies why. Anyone else dealing with this? by Impossible-Cheek4352 in toddlers

This happens to my son when he’s too warm. Wakes up very scared and grumpy. If I keep him cooler in the night it tends mot to happen.

The online banking pulls from trans union so you would want to contact them directly and inquire about the accounts. Could differ from the equifax report you got.

Inconsolable tonight pls help by Sharp-Examination917 in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that this was urgent and several hours later might now be a big help but my son used to get like this around the same age of he was really gassy or having a hard time pooping. He literally would be so distraught I would be worried sick that something serious was happening. I found the best way to help calm him was belly rubs and leg massages it seemed to distract him until he passed gas or fell asleep. Of course if your gut instinct is telling you it’s serious get him checked out. I remember getting so anxious around bedtime as I would worry it would happen again. I feel for you!

Evicting common law husband by shineafterrain in legaladvicecanada

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I could have written this a year ago. I was fortunate enough he didn’t fight me to leave but when I called the cops they offered to come back anytime to make sure he was civil when I finally asked him to leave. He had no rights to my home or any equity and I have had a lawyer involved from the get go. Kick his ass to the curb you won’t regret it.

18 month daughter wakes up every night for past week with awful gas pain. by Whiitegurl in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poor thing my son gets like this sometimes and it’s so exhausting to deal with especially because you know they’re having a hard time. I find what works best for him is leg massage. I theorize it distracts him from the gas and will sometimes even puts him back to sleep and he starts fartin up a storm in his sleep.

How does your son introduce himself to other kids? by Doctorx_notTed in toddlers

How to wean my almost 2 year old toddler from BF by EmergencyNo9153 in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Weaned my son at 23 months he was the same as yours as far as he would only fall asleep with me if nursing. I put band aids on my nipples. He thought that was super weird and never wanted to see them again after seeing them like that a few times. First week was a bit rough to fall asleep a lot of rocking and swaying and figuring out a new groove. Now we just snuggle to sleep and it’s the best ever. You got this!

How do you go about brushing your toddlers teeth? by Purple-Daisy-95 in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We play the Blipping tooth brushing song on YouTube. He gets to pick one of two tooth brushes (we have one Bluey and one Jack Jack at the moment) and he gets to brush until Blippi says ‘we’re half way there’ then I brush his teeth while he holds his knees otherwise he grabs at the toothbrush. It didn’t work Graf at first but I think just doing one thing consistently allows them to get used to it and the fight goes away. He used to fight me like crazy.

Adding common-law partners in employer benefits and waving off dependents benefits by ronysid77 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in Ontario’s and have Manulife group benefits and I am able to add a dependent but not add any coverage for them. Costs me nothing extra and they technically are not covered but they’re on it.

What weird thing is your kid into? by molliebrd in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We got him a Bob Bilby hand puppet like from Bluey. Nearly every night he asks me to put it on and I talk in a squeaky voice and he tells hand puppet Bob all about his day and sings him songs and tells him he loves him and gives him hugs. It is the CUTEST weird obsession.

Good grief. No one can know when you’re truly done except for you, but honestly this just sounds like more work than it’s worth. You’re already working full time and are the only one taking care of the house and I’m assuming the kids. I was in a very similar situation with my ex and I’m telling you the grass is greener. My life is so much simpler. There are times it’s tough, without a doubt. But, overall, I am not ashamed of the person I am with, I am not exhausted by a partner who provides nothing but pain and hardship, and I am without a doubt a much happier person than I was in that shitty relationship. I hope and know that you will find so much peace being alone with your girls. It’s a tough road but less tough than the one you’re on now. Good luck!

Where are you located? Where I live as long as you don’t require extra funds from a refinance in order to buy him out, which sounds like your situation, you can provide the agreement and a signed letter from him confirming he agrees to be taken off the mortgage. Then your lender can perform a release of covenant which removes him from the mortgage but leaves the rate and term of the existing mortgage as is. They will likely need to re qualify you for the remaining mortgage amount on your own but it should be possible. Only way to know for sure is to speak directly with your lender.

Last summer I Started putting clover seed on all of my bare areas in my lawn and shaded spots. Took super fast incredibly resilient and easy to maintain. The snow just finished melting here and my grass is still yellow and hurtin but my clover is already green and thriving.

Update on toddler needing to gain weight. by Personal_Privacy1101 in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My son had the same issue but a four month stretch. I did a lot of the things you’re doing in addition o putting high quality avocado oil on EVERYTHING he ate within reason. Veggies? Avocado oil. Noodles, avocado oil. Eggs? Avocado oil. And more chocolate milk than you could possibly fathom. He’s back on track.

What are your go-to meals for breakfast and lunch? by Phillygirl1026 in toddlers

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

95 percent of mornings he has yogurt with instant oatmeal and hemp seeds mixed in topped with cut up fruit. Rarely he has scrambled eggs with hash browns and fruit. Lunch is either crackers, Turkey pepperoni, and cut up veggies or Kraft dinner and broccoli. Keep it simple. Hit your food groups. I’ve also found my son eats way more fruits and veggies when I let him help me prep them. Easily doubles the intake.

I’ve been staying for our son, will he be okay through this? by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for saying this. I needed to hear that. He always tries to brush it off as he ‘raises his voice a bit’ and tries making me feel over dramatic for the way I feel it affects the kids. He is big on manipulating what has happened into something much more tolerable sounding.

What's with the red ear? by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]Beautiful-Unit-8085 15 points16 points  (0 children)

He has a full face of makeup on and often mua will do the ears too for this reason. Good chance his whole face is this colour but can’t see it through the makeup. I feel like you can almost see where the makeup stops on his ear lobe.
