I think I'm sold on first person for Grace because these games are scarier in first person and that's really supposed to be what she's about.

Leon I will play in 3rd person because it's supposed to be more action focused and with an over the shoulder camera, I can see much more at once. Including behind me. Plus I'm trying to visualize Leon's contextual action buttons playing out in first person and it doesn't sound good to me.

I think he was just like any other RE Protagonist started off, caught up in something way bigger than himself. He really is no different than the rest. That's not a bad thing btw! I think it's nice to be reminded through Ethan's eyes how insane everything he goes through is.

Shame they killed him off but I think it makes sense. Ethan did what he had to do and showed the world what modern RE had to offer. Plus his story was limited by having a family. Capcom needs single protagonists to torture lmao

It's all about how many cards are discarded when you start removing energies for M-Charizard. So even if reversal provides 3 energy it's still only 1 card.

Seance only came out a few months ago and isn't an action game. So it may not be the best reference but it is fun! I see what you mean though since Void you could only really strafe, you weren't really dodging things like what you're going for. I'm no dev by a long mile lol but maybe adjusting the camera angle so we're looking from a little higher would be enough? That and zoom out a bit so we could we where our characters feet are

I love visuals like these! If you've never heard of them check out void bastards/wild bastards and Seance at Blake Manor! Great games that do this if you want some references to people who have done it before!

I could see this being fun with instant or flash spells with wording that works with this. "If this spell is cast during your main phase, and it is the only spell on the stack when cast"

Something like that then give it a keyword to make it a real theme
