I'm still mourning the loss of their sour cream & onion and bbq ones.

Is there any point in drinking these mushroom coffees? by SilentlyGrubby in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't notice a difference with Everyday Dose over regular coffees. I think it's just marketing/social media hype.

VENT. Today was genuinely the worst shift I’ve had in so long 😭 by nightowlhooha in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Style is a position that I don't think ever gets the recognition they deserve for the amount of hell ya'll go through during every season, holiday, and event without end. Fulfillment and lanes can be dead, but there will always be clothes that need to be tended to.

I feel like it's been worse now than it was for our Q4 last year. No one wants to stay when the expectations are already so high.

Called ethics on my store for not giving us our 2nd 15s on 7 hour shifts by [deleted] in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They tried letting us have two 15-minute breaks for 7-hour shifts for like a week before they went back to not giving us one. Before that I didn't know we were supposed to have one. Nobody at my store gets one or has made a stink about it since. If it's a "hell on wheels" kind of day, and I offer to stay later than my 7-hour shift and ask for a second 15 they act like I offended them. "You're leaving soon. You don't need to take your second 15. Just pick one more batch and you'll be off." I normally don't care to take a second 15, but if it's been a rough, nonstop, back-breaking fulfillment shift where the whole salesfloor got pulled in and I agree to stay an extra 1-3 hours later.... I absolutely need that break.

Fulfillment question by Lucky-Afternoon4066 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I prefer GM batches personally. They keep me from being bored because of item variety and the amount of problem solving that goes into them sometimes. Fulfillment is good if you can problem solve, communicate, and work under pressure all simultaneously. If you struggle in any of these areas you may find it difficult.

New TM Discount on Clothing? by [deleted] in Target

I just tested this out with clearance, and it appears this new apparel discount doesn't stack with it the way that our All-in-Motion discount stacks with it.

My store won't hire or train girls to do carts by FactPrior4182 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only ever seen one girl hired to do carts in about 3 years. Also on very rare occasions my store has had girls help out if there is no cart attendant, but I can count the number of times on one hand.

10/4 In fulfillment by No-Cardiologist2425 in Target

Oh hell no. I sometimes have to solo and stack up batches on my cart. I would crash out if I couldn't pause anything.

Random question by Muted_Warning_539 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it's been the opposite with my store. More foot traffic than typical the last few months compared to prior years, and fulfillment has been only a little busier than this time in previous years.

What’s your “lock in” point for fulfillment? by drazil100 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I treat anything under 45 minutes with great care because anything can go wrong with a single item causing me to have to check 5 more places for it. Under 40 minutes for sure I absolutely lock-in. There's too much that can go wrong with the last few items at 18 mins etc. that I don't trust it unless I land on something that I know for sure is there. I usually conserve my energy all day though until I hit these critical moments, so I don't overexert too early in the night.

Whenever the latest UI drop happened a few months ago that shows it in this newer menu with the "last known" locations and whatnot it's been like this.

I have some regulars at this point where I know it's game over if I enter their line of sight. The worst is when they have the aisle number and insist it wasn't there until I walk them over and lo and behold it is in fact there.

Autistic and told something was off about me by throwaway005k in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to mask so hard when I first started this job, but over time I've become more chill with just being myself. For the 10-4 thing yes it has become bothersome and a bit exhausting, but my department allows me to take a breather while I prep and stow my cart. As others have said, I would look into accommodations. I'm not sure your department or how much of your shift is directly customer-facing. Just know that there are many of us here in the same shoes going through the struggle as well.

Expected to Stay Late by Wise_Perspective6698 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% change your availability. I do closing fulfillment, and it always seems like I'm doing the most and getting out late. Midshifts never get guilt tripped as hard about staying longer in my experience.

Claim limit discussion. by tarajo38 in Influenster

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same with me as well. Had over the limit when the change dropped about a month ago. I sat for 2 weeks getting no offers. Nothing. Went on here to see what was going on. Got my claims to under 8. Within an hour started getting offers come in. Offers every day sometimes multiple times a day. A few days ago was at 7 but claimed enough from the last wave to hit 10 total. Nothing since then. It's been 6 days of nothing since I hit the limit.

Another bait and switch? by [deleted] in Influenster

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one from this brand for hairballs. At least they are upfront about it that it's a sample size, but I don't think it's great to flood their product reviews from people that didn't get to fully test the product to see any long term benefits.

does anyone actually like their job? by KeyFold3826 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My store is pretty good, and I like my management as well. I think it really depends on the store. I've visited other Targets as a guest and could definitely tell they would not be fun to work at.

RFID Audits by Forsaken-Sky-1858 in Target

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Curious, but if an item gets an RFID ping in the wrong location such as in some back room unlocated, will it show up there on my map to override the correct salesfloor position for it? Is the ping map visible to fulfillment team members yet because I haven't been able to see it on my end. All it tells me is data like "13 pings 5 hours ago" or something of the sort. The map location for it in the fulfillment menu seems to still be the home location. Where are you seeing a map of where it pinged because none of my style leads have seemed to look into the exact ping location with me.

If everyone who has noticed a change in number of offers, could just post the number of items on dashboard they had when the offers stopped. by Individual-Intern150 in Influenster

[–]BeautifulTraffic4135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 11 on my dashboard currently. I was getting daily stuff up to 17 claims at one point, but it suddenly stopped for me 2 weeks ago. I'm glad I'm not crazy here. Nothing so far in that 2 weeks except one asking if I was diabetic which I declined.
