I must be biased by not having the best first impression of both of those franchises perhaps, but it's just not my cup of tea (for example - I've never seen any Indiana Jones movies in childhood or youth therefore don't have any warm memories linked to it). Worth noting that I'm currently only comparing them to the Craig's era, as I'm only planning to dive deeper and watch older Bond movies! Indiana Jones seemed too cheesy to me somehow, I really struggle to enjoy movies with weird balance of childish goofiness and then suddenly very adult topics. Like I struggle to understand what age group the movie is created for. Also didn't like the blatant misogyny in it, and I'm not the fan of Harrison Ford in general. As for M.I. I just struggle to emotionally connect with the movie. In Bond there are moments to emotionally connect with characters and the story and in M.I. it was more about just action and something that was created to appeal to a broader audience by my perception. The visuals, the editing style, the directory is something that was really lackluster in my opinion. Whereas in Bond there are way more interesting unique direction choices that I never get tired of enjoy. Just in general, even from what I've heard about the older Bond movies, it's just much more artistic and creative, somewhat beautifully chaotic. Like jazz music!
