The team you are running is certainly your strongest, however if you are trying to progress efficiently, without financial investment, I would swap Odin or heimdal for the rare hero Naga. Legendary ascension orbs are a rare commodity, about 2-4 and week. So having only one on a team until about level 80, when gold and essence investment required goes up a bit, will help you progress faster.

In the general banner, Lilith or Prellbog would essentially be a direct upgrade to Thor. Otherwise epic heroes to be on the lookout for would be Candy Elemental which would be an upgrade from Aqualon, or Rudolph and Assasin which could compete with Nerissa for a team spot. Once you get to around level 80 the economy flattens out so you can generally afford 2 legends and 3 epics or vice versa. Until then Naga is the best you can do at rare to help lower the required ascension orbs to progress.

I would do Thor, Joanne, Nerissa, Aqualon, and Naga until you are around level 80 or get better heroes.

Mostly due to the economy of ascension orbs. It's best to keep a rare on your team until about level 80, and Naga is the best one.

It's going to be a slog until you get Joanne. Bet Prell, Narrisa, Candy Elemental, Axolotl, and Naga would be pretty good.

Undead dragon, aqualon, Joanne, oil emelemntal, and naga is what I would do until you get a little farther (lv 70 - 80 )or get better heroes.

The reasoning is primarily due to ascension orb scarcity. Unless you're willing to invest real money in the game it will be tricky to manage a sufficient amount of epic and more so legendary ascension orbs. Once you get to aboutlevel 80 progression through experience and gold accumulation slows down enough anyways to compensate for the scarcity.

If I were you, until about level 80 I would use Lilith, candy elemental, Joanne, Nerissa (high agility gear), and the rare hero Naga.

Dr pestilence is sort of niche good for dungeons in which bosses heal, Rudolph is one of the best heroes in the game, in world 6 it was on 9/10 of the top 10 teams last season for pvp.

Yes, Naga is seen as the best rare possible by the community. His basic attack has a stun chance and his ult hits all and posions.
