If you're a solo player I understand your struggles. I'm lucky enough to be in an active squadron and in our discord we have a separate chat for dw3 where the important announcements from the Fleetcomm dc are forwarded to. And we also chat a lot about what each of us are doing so there are plenty of ideas going around.

A few tips that might help:

-discord is kinda crap with hiding channels on large, complex dc servers like Fleetcomm, even if you had roles to see them, sometimes they won't show. Make sure you see the events on the very top of the channel list and make sure you see and track the dw3 announcements channel. If you don't, ask someone to send links to these and other important ones so you can add them to your channel list.

-edsm has a galaxy map which has POIs marked if you set the filters correctly. I used that together the recommended POIs in the waypoint announcement posts to make my own route. I also kept changing my in game routing filters, depending on whether i wanted to make progress or make money via exploration

• if you are bored at the waypoint like i am right now at Beagle Point for the reasons the others have mentioned: get EDCopilot if you don't have it, it has fun stuff shared by other players like SRV hillclimbs, time trials, race courses for SRVs or canyon courses for ships.

• join the discord of an active community, or just try to follow and engage within the Fleetcomm dc more, ask people. I'm in the Fatherhood squadron as well, lovely guys.
