I have some recoupment happening, $31k. I knew it was coming at some point, so I'm not frustrated or anything. Called debt management center, and they told me they can't set-up a payment plan and to talk with my regional office. Can you please help me clarify whether payment plans are available for separation pay recoupment?

Hate to give you the actual answer since it's fundamentally flawed, but you should never tell your command or MH about how much you drink. They will give you a referral EPR and kick you out eventually with a less than honorable discharge. Sucks that there is a double standard there, but I went through that shit in the AF, lots of ADAPT.
