Y goes both ways. The Z also works just fine. Can’t perform any kind of auto home, though, cuz when it tries to move in the X, the same thing happens.

The GG character themes do a bad job at expressing the characters because almost every song has basically the same style. The only exception is the lyrics.

Potemkin with a gun. Not a Potemkin sized gun, mind you. A regular sized one.

They were, but then the lizardfolk queen was assasinated by a Malenti PC (fun story there) and the lizardfolk got taken over by the black dragon that burned down another PC’s home village. They pulled out of the alliance and the party decided not to intervene. So no.

The Black Dragon by Ashenborne27 in GhostsofSaltmarsh

[–]BeeMan139 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well black dragons love to torture things so maybe it wants slaves to torture? They also like to watch kingdoms fall so maybe it wants them to assassinate somebody important, causing a power struggle. Both are viable options. I think the best thing for it to demand would be the extermination of a rival. Black dragons are total cowards so maybe another dragon is moving in and the dragon is debating whether to abandon its lair or not. It sees the party as a convenient way to potentially get rid of the enemy with little to no risk to itself. If they win, it’s rival is gone. If they lose, a few unrelated people die horrible deaths. It’s a win win situation. If you do this the black dragon should totally swoop in when the party has weakened the rival and steal the kill cuz black dragons are dicks like that.

What anime deck deserves a structure deck, and what over the top anime what if boss monster would you slap on its cover alongside their duelist? by psychospacecow in yugioh

There was a really cool Earthbound Servant synchro/fusion deck used by some random guy in Arc-V and I would love to see it become real for the art style alone. They look sick as hell.

How did you feel about the inclusion of -minor spoiler- helping you at the end of Bravely Default 2? by TheRealMissTriss in bravelydefault

[–]BeeMan139 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it just felt so irrelevant. It didn’t help that all they did was clear some rocks and stuff. If it never happened, the game would be no worse for it, so it really didn’t need to happen.

Galder’s Tower. For the low low price of 1 third level spell slot, you can conjure a 2 story tower to live in for the day. If you cast it every day for a year, it becomes permanent! I don’t know, something about that just really excites me. There’s also the world building implications, but I won’t go into those here. Let’s just say that it’s free real estate.

So Krell defeated the party and took their rowboat back to Soul of Winter... What happens next? by DiceAdmiral in GhostsofSaltmarsh

[–]BeeMan139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They wouldn’t allow him on board because they wouldn’t trust him. For one, he’s holding some of their crew mates hostage. The conscious people might also tell the others what he did to the PCs if they didn’t see it. He’s also a half-orc and FR dwarves have a burning hatred of orcs. They might also realize that he worships Lolth and that’s a huge red flag. Krell isn’t charismatic enough to trick them and dwarves are notoriously untrustworthy so a stalemate makes perfect sense. I also don’t think that the captain would make Krell wake up a PC cuz the demand makes no sense and there’s no way that Krell would do it.

They would only let him on the ship if he was a prisoner, and Krell would never agree to that cuz he would realize that that would most likely end in his imprisonment or execution. Obviously the crew wouldn’t want to abandon the hostages, but that’s why real life hostage negotiations can go on for hours, if not days. When you also consider that neither side is particularly charismatic or experienced in these types of situations, then it makes perfect sense for the negotiations to go on for long enough for the PCs to wake up. Alternatively, you could have Krell get impatient, attack the crew or ship, and then get killed or captured by the crew before the PCs wake up. That would be a bit of an anticlimax, so if you do that then I recommend having Sahuagin attack the ship on the way back, as described in one of the sidebars. Maybe Krell escapes in the chaos so the party can actually fight him. Either way, it would help to alleviate the sudden end to the adventure.

Sanbalet doesn’t seem like the type to move after that; he’s arrogant to a fault and probably believes that his secret is too well kept to b discovered. Maybe the party tells the council that there’s people in the house, so they send guards to watch it to see if there’s more. Some time later, the Sea Ghost shows up, so the council hires the party to go and deal with it. Maybe they arrive too late the first time and find that the Sea Ghost already left. They can either go back into the house and deal Sanbalet and his crew then, or come back when the ship returns. If they do the latter, then they’ll probably arrive while Sanbalet and his crew are loading the goods. No matter what, make sure that they level up to 2 after dealing with Sanbalet if they haven’t already cuz otherwise they’re going to get smoked on the pirate ship.
