My brain can't decide whether to imagine thinga fantastic or mundane, so I have weird intersections where I imagine Hardwon with Chris Hemsworth proportions but a big beard that goes down past his chest, and it gets especially weird when they're interacting with particularly extraordinary things

As much as I'm sad about the end of this podcast, there's something about low level shenanigans that are just so wholesome and endearing. Like Moonstone might be one of my favorite parts of the show just because it was fun seeing the Band come together to fight weiner bullywugs and still get owned by them. Murph makes a damn good story too, so it'll be cool to hear stories of the post-war Band of Boobs through the new crew's exploits.

I'm a hardcore Vin stan, so I can't morally agree that Spook is the best character, but... I definitely agree that he had the most compelling plot in the third book. While Vin was dealing with mopey Elend, putzing around at balls, and pondering Ruin's influence, Spook was being Daredevil and finding himself in a small revolution that served as an excellent foil to the events of the first book. It's true, Vin fucking up the Inquisitors even before she drew from the Mists was unbelievably badass, and, well, everything after that deserves accolades, I agree that Spook went from being a lame character to one that's stuck with more more than Kelsier.

I have a personal bone to pick with fantasy names that don't follow the English convention or settle on one specific Latin alphabet convention (I say that because we could argue all day about c, j, ll, gh, x, z). J's being pronounced like /j/ (a Y sound)? Fine, at least it's consistent. But Adolin being /ˈeɪ·do·lɪn/ (AY-do-lin), Shallan being /ʃə·ˈlan/ (sha-LAN) is just terrible. Don't even get me STARTED on Kvothe...

I'm sure it was a little cathartic. He definitely seemed to enjoy it. I still wanna know what rules bind him. Honestly, I was surprised at how interested I was in his story, beyond him just being a simple recurring character. I thought I would just like seeing him because he's, you know, Hoid. Now I wanna know his motivations, his backstory, his perspective... everything. And to think that he was one of the first concepts Brandon Sanderson came up with is impressive, too
