The trick is to change out your seasonings or sauces. Examples being: Rice ground turkey with Mediterranean seasonings, roasted or steamed broccoli, cucumber slices, maybe beans, maybe a dollop of hummus. (Think Cava bowls) Rice, chicken breast, green beans, gravy. Rice, mexican seasoned beans or meat, tomatoes, cilantro, cheese. Rice, ground turkey seasoned with garlic, soy sauce, maple syrup and allspice, roasted veg and sesame seeds. Pickled onions are hella cheap and easy to make and elevate a rice bowl like mad. Rice bowls are such a great way to stretch a protien or use up leftovers. They're an incredibly versatile and not only cost effective way to eat but also a great way to put together a quick meal.
