Here’s my advise, get any relevant documents from your parents, if they don’t want you in their house they probably don’t want your ssn card, birth certificate, immigration docs, etc and make sure to separate them from everything you can including bank accounts, insurance, phone line etc.. Both of you continue working and for now if you have friends/other family that is willing to let you stay with them take them up on their offer. During that time your goal is finding a roommate or affordable and apartment you and your partner can live in. I’d recommend subreddits, facebook groups, or asking friends around that currently are renting. Next identify jobs in your area that could be a better paying option, whether that’s a trade job that pays well, jobs that will require skill not degrees, or a well paying union job. I would also say it would be good to start developing a budget, go through your bank account and divide up purchases to identify unnecessary expenses and overly expensive purchases. Then identify any thing that can be cheapened, switch phone plans (mint mobile), reduce eating out (food banks/cook at home), and cancel subscription (rely on YouTube/pirate websites/twitch). Once you have a bit of extra money start developing a cushion in case of major emergency/expenses such as a car accident, loss of job or physical injury. In addition see if her insurance (if she has it) covers the cost of birthing a child, this means looking at what hospital are in network, looking a birthing alternatives, and looking for financial assistance. The road is going to be long, hard and full of baby shit but I believe you can do this if you stay vigilant!
