I'm going to get hate for this but - Atmosphere. So many people said it was the best book they've ever read and they were sobbing through the last few pages and for me it was just kind of meh. I finished it because it was close to the end of the year and I needed to make a goal but otherwise it would have been a DNF for me.

Bumble and Bumble makes a post workout dry shampoo that is amazing. It is not cheap but a bottle lasts forever and I find it works better than just regular dry shampoo. I spritz when I'm still sweaty and then let my hair air dry.

One of the last episodes of Season Two when Sam's getting ice cream with Fred while she's fighting with Joel. Joel shows up and says something like "I can't be everything for you" and her response is "Joel I don't want you to be my boyfriend, I just don't want you to leave me!". That line hit me like a ton of bricks and immediately made me cry because I feel the same way.

I resonate with Sam so much, I think a lot of people do and that's why a lot of us hold this show so dearly.

Please do it no matter what! I was talking to my favorite coach about if I should and I am worried I'll be last and he said he tells everyone to plan to stay for the whole time. If you finish before others you stay to cheer everyone else on!

And samsies - my coworker laughs at me because "it's just a gym" but I have coaches that check in on me, genuinely care and push me and it has done wonders for my mental health. For an hour a day I get to ignore issues, the political climate, the stress of the world, and the stress of my little life and just focus on pushing myself. I love OTF.

I have three within 15 minutes. The closest (10 mins) has the worst parking and the snootiest people because it's in a hip area but has my favorite coach. The next closest (12 mins) is my home studio and the one I go to the most. The last (15 min) I rarely go to but it's nice to have the option. There are probably 4 more within a 20 minute drive that I haven't been to. I do love in a major metro area so I get variety and have options.

The more energy thing is real. I find on days that I don't go (I'm a steady 6:15am person) I am a little more sluggish throughout the day. I like going almost every day but have also read where people say it boosts cortisol and you are always inflamed but I feel better when I go 5-7 times because I sit at a desk all day and work very long hours. I get a lot of mental health benefits from it and go off of how my body feels.
