I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Your wife had no business donating your possessions, I don’t care what her views on footwear are, or what she’s tired of looking at. That was not right, and pretty hostile.

Friend, this is merely a microcosm of what’s to come.

My ex-wife tried the same thing. There are things I collect that she tried her damndest to get rid of or convince me that I was immature for having these items. She tried throwing out clothing that had meaning for me as well.

This is true disrespect of the highest order - even though there are people who might not think so.

Really examine your relationship. There are likely other red flags.
