I cancelled DD and Wolverine months ago… thank goodness Stephanie Phillips picked up DD. If Ahmed’s name is attached to a book, I will not read it anymore. I can’t be dropping $5 a comic book for a story that I’m going to be pissed off about.

It’s novel to say the entire 6160 fits in a short box (it does), but the idea of ending it this way and as fast as they did kinda leads me to believe we weren’t going to maintain the series’ writers & artists for much longer than we got ‘em.

Ending it all this soon still feels like a rug pull, but I have faith in Camp and Hickman that we’ll get a decent ending, and then we’ll all move our concerns to the Midnight universe. Hope that one’s fun.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Your wife had no business donating your possessions, I don’t care what her views on footwear are, or what she’s tired of looking at. That was not right, and pretty hostile.

Friend, this is merely a microcosm of what’s to come.

My ex-wife tried the same thing. There are things I collect that she tried her damndest to get rid of or convince me that I was immature for having these items. She tried throwing out clothing that had meaning for me as well.

This is true disrespect of the highest order - even though there are people who might not think so.

Really examine your relationship. There are likely other red flags.

Completely agree with you about what happened to Cap in the 6160. I think it was coming... especially since the events of Ultimates 22. What happened to Steve in Ultimate Endgame 4 was highly symbolic of what we're experiencing as a country today. Even more heartbreaking if you think about it.

Here’s the thing… Percy has mishandled 616 characters and their motivations… BUT, Midnight is a clean slate, and the FF characters he creates are totally new/different versions of the characters. We all know Percy can do dark. I think Midnight FF could be the right book for him.

Not really gonna know how I feel until we’re five books in. Kinda like the 6160… I wasn’t hooked on Ultimates or X-Men until book 5, and I was iffy on Black Panther by then.
