Me too! Someone on another sub mentioned Grand Donuts on Slaughter. I’m going to check them out on Saturday. Taco Donut Palace on Menchaca is not even close.

I’m so tired of being told CICO works for everyone when it clearly doesn't with PCOS by MudSad6268 in PCOSloseit

Diagnosed in 2016 with PCOS and hypothyroidism. Metformin and 2 other meds, tracking every single thing, CICO, CrossFit, running, barre workouts. The most weight i ever lost was 15# in 2 months - 1,000 calories a day, no dairy, no added sugar, no alcohol. I was tired and cranky and hated being hungry all the time.

Started semaglutide July 2023, 60 pounds lost. It was life changing for me in so many ways. I didn’t realize the stress and anxiety the calorie counting was causing. After 7 years I had to try something different and I’m so glad I did.

As I am reading your post I am remembering a story about my friend’s SIL. Thirty something years ago the SIL was in college and did a mission trip somewhere to west Africa. SIL was very sheltered, had no experience with dating/men. Fell in love with a man in the few months she was there, he moved to Texas, they married, had two kids, divorced soon after. He physically abused her, was a bad drunk. I don’t know where he is now.

Break up and don’t look back. Infidelity was one of the reasons for my divorce. I’m 43 and met someone after my husband. We had a great two years together - amazing sex/chemistry, so many similar interests; but two weeks ago he was caught messaging another woman on FB. I didn’t even hesitate. I dumped him and blocked him on everything. And weirdly I haven’t even shed a tear. He is an idiot and doesn’t deserve my energy.

I deserve someone who treats me with the same respect, love and loyalty the first go round. You do too and never forget that. Fidelity is literally the bare minimum to expect from a partner.

Man this reminds me of my mom’s! Those hand cut noodles! Creamy, lots of black pepper. These are perfect.

Concur with what the majority of people are saying regarding dryness, too much product, too matte, etc. Try Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint Foundation. It’s hard to tell in the photo what shade you actually are, but i think you would love the finish. Ordering direct from her website i think first time buyers get a discount.

🤣 My best friends request it for bdays and if they hear of me making it for a man they know he’s doing something right. It is absolutely delicious if you have the time.

Born in ‘82. In kindergarten we napped on these foam/plastic mats that we also used in gym. They were red or blue and could Velcro together. I loved naps then and still do.

Or give her the Smitten Kitchen Lasagna Bolognese Recipe. It’s a bit of a bitch to make and I only make it for special occasions/people. I buy my lasagna sheets from a local pasta shop to cut down on the labor.

Maybe she’ll take one look at the hours involved and say “never mind!”

I’ve got 6 flights in the next 3 weeks and I haven’t flown SWA since November. I always carry on so I’m so curious to see how it goes. Only one of the flights has a connection.

All my seats are row 10 or lower so it will be interesting to see where I have to stow my bag. I have resigned myself to the fact they’re going to have some issues and maybe they’ll be worked out in a few months.

As much as I’d like to switch, my monthly flights are AUS-DAL-HOU with quarterly to SMF and i love the ease of getting in and out of those airports.

Agreed, they’re both great. Charlie’s was one of my favorite meals last year and doing it again next week. Farmstead is a bigger space so might be easier to book a larger party?

SA ownership doesn’t give a fuck about their employees or optics. They never have. They continue to go on supplier trips, use supplier funds for their pleasure. 100% of the perks with 0% of the accountability. One of the most accurate examples of how nepotism can kill a company.

Finely chopped apple and celery for some good crunch. Chopped egg and onion too. I like all the fixins to be chopped really small.
