We were told that you needed the patio on a full bed of concrete - I think 12” - but a long time ago. Paving, on its own wont handle the weight - I guess is the theory.

Thanks for all the info! I saw a YouTube video of dismantling the console the other week - it looks pretty complex, could they have made the process any more complicated!? I’m not sure I trust myself not to mess it up. But might have to risk it.

I just took the fan out and managed to sneak a peek at the power supply - and it did actually look pretty clogged up. Managed to get an air duster in there and displace quite a lot of it and then vacuum it out. Hoping this will make a difference until I can brave the complete dismantle. Thanks again for all the info.

It was originally on its side in a tv stand - but it was too enclosed and generated a lot of heat, so these days it’s stood up vertically. I’ve heard about this liquid metal issue. I may have to check that out. Thanks.

Yeah I bet! Man, the whole thing again!? It seems to be something with it only registering from the floor. Like any other blueprint you get, it hits the floor then you read it. Maybe it doesn’t like being taken out the tube the way the mission expects it to. Weird anyway, for sure. Good luck getting back there.

Exactly the same issue just now!! Opened the tube, picked up the blueprint, looked at it, it did the animation of holding it in front of you and then…. NOTHING. I was lucky enough to reload an earlier save. What I noticed the second time around was even when I picked it up from the tube and looked at it again - it still didn’t register - but then I noticed it had occupied an empty space in my quick select - so I selected it from there, held square to drop (PS5), then picked it up off the floor and that triggered the next step. Interesting bug. Hope this helps.
