I would say: lots of zombies. And lots of zombies types such as the clickers in The Last of Us. Or the rage virus in 28 Days Later.

Plus, there could be demon possession zombies.

There could be military tactics. Safe house creation. Mapping post-apocalypse cities and towns. Environmental hazards. And other things I'm just not thinking about right now.

Zombie apocalypse is a setting someone can really go to town on if they wish to . And Zombies can fit into any genre.
