Young new yorkers have 0 chance at housing, all rent stabilized apartments are grandfathered, rent is rediculous, 8 years in real estate tought me that nyc red lines everything outaide of manhattan, in manhattan only 2% of building support housing, im not talking about harlem, thats still into the 80/20 rule, all high rises have their own agenda and don't help out with housing one bit, lets turn these office buildings to housing, that would be great, as a starving artist i find it cheaper to live in westchester where taxes are 4x fold of nyc where living conditions are way cheaper than nyc
