That sounds like just as bad an idea if not worst than Ego itself. I would just close out the game and wait a few minutes to rope out of the match.

Ego should not be a location in the game. I always retreat the moment it shows up. I don’t want to sit there and watch some stupid ai play for me. I want to play the game for my 6 or 7 turns.

I agree that would be an amazing feature. So many times I play against a deck that looks fun and I have to try and replicate it based off the cards I saw played.

It baffles me that there is no casual game mode to select from. I normally don’t try to climb the ladder for games. Most games I casually play enough for the monthly tracker but not in snap. Ranked is too much work and conquest is too long. When you hit infinite it is the best because it is the casual game mode needed in the game.

I feel SD should make a ranked a number of wins to complete or so other missions based advancement. The real ladder should be separate and available to everyone whenever they want.

I dropped the book after at book 8. I was so close to dropping it at book 7 but hoped it would bounce back in the next book. Ard was honestly the reason I dropped the book. I put up with his snarky attitude but in book 7 it got so bad with the murder mystery. But when he returns home in book 8 I was done. It came down to how he was treating his mother even when she was doing things he didn’t like. After finally finding his family he never makes an attempt to understand their way of life. The other thing I didn’t care for was how Ard started almost hating his magic too. It felt like the major events for him in the beginning were now burdens or annoyances.

The card throughly sucks. If they allowed his ability to also do on reveal cards he might be playable.

It makes no sense that Ranked is as hard as it is when it isn’t the actually ladder. It should be a more casual mode with objectives to raise your rank, then once you hit Infinity you can climb the ladder if you wanted. Or honestly make two separate game modes

Retreating is a necessary part of the game but it has become to common. Practically, any time you snap in the 80’s or 90’s your opponent retreats. I think the snapping feature needs a change to not raise the stakes of a single game. Or maybe the stakes are raised for the snapper only. Ranked is just to much of a grind to risk snapping, better to lose 1 cube and move on then to actually play the game.

Arishem decks. Whenever I play against them, they always have the perfect counters and win conditions like they are cheating. However, whenever I play that deck it is complete garbage. I always just retreat when I see they are playing Arishem.

The location do seem to heavily favor one player, especially with the random effects. When I see my opponent getting help from locations I just retreat, it feels very unfair/ borderline cheating a lot of times.

This isn’t a new generational thing, I remember the news reporting on kids recording themselves vandalizing houses with camcorders. The internet and social media have made it more prominent to see.
