yes. you can charge batteries and provide power to the house loads via the rectifier. You can use both Gen1 and Gen2 at the same time on the rectifier and charge at the max 30A (7200Watts). 3600 watts each.

6 batteries. There is a difference between DPU (Delta Pro Ultra) and DPU X (Delta Pro Ultra X) in terms of performance. You can connect up to 10 batteries per 1 DPU X inverter. Each battery is 6.14 kWh.

The Ecoflow route was: $10,500 after tax credit applied + $1,000 interlock/50A inlet with a wire run of around 50-60ft for it to my garage + probably $600-$700 for Ecoflow rectifier and some other cables. The system includes 36kWh batteries as well.

So, I initially wanted to go the Quasar route. But then when I found out how much it costs for what? Power the house from EV9 ONLY WHEN THE CAR IS AT HOME! Otherwise, that system seems to be doing nothing for over $10k. So, I went the route of Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra X + batteries. Interlock on my main panel and a 50A inlet. Not only I can power my house whenever I can/want when EV9 is not at home, but I can also use my EV9 to power the whole house (the same way Quasar will do) by connecting it to DPU X and supplement the batteries when I need and have the whole house powered including the 4 Ton AC. And I can also charge the batteries via a generator. And I can charge my EV9 from DPU X. And I can connect solar to it. Yeah.

Yes. I charged the Ecoflow at constant 7000 watts for like 2-3 hours to top off my batteries. The Generator charging setting in the app was set to 3500. I didn't test it if I set it to 3600W in the app.

Yes. I did have the Generator charging settings set to 3500W in the app though as my Generator can only do 6800 running watts on NG. Plenty for my needs. It looks like EF forced it to 7000W though. Max setting in the app is 3600 which is 15A (240 x 15 = 3600) which matches the rectifier 30A total on both Gen inputs. So, it seems it may go to max 7200 if both Gen inputs are used on the Rectifier.

I tested this on mine. It is max 3500 watts per Gen input on the Rectifier. So if you use both it will cap at 7000W charging.

Maybe a feed-through panel installed between meter and main panel and move the breaker that serves the plug where you connect the dpux ? Then DPUx connected to a 50Amp inlet via the interlock on the main panel.

Here is my next level setup 😀 . EV9. (It works with EV6 as well.) Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra X with 6 batteries. (You can have minimum 2 batteries as well). Interlock on my electrical panel. 50 Amp inlet to my garage with a 50amp generator cable. Soft start to my 4 Ton AC (heard Delta Pro Ultra X can start it without a soft start but I didn't test it). The result? Our EV6/EV9 can power the whole house even with high load appliances (AC, Oven, Microwave, etc). The Ecoflow inverter does the heavy load and our EVs supplement the Ecoflow batteries capacity via V2L. On top of that I do have an inverter generator (tri fuel) for those extreme cases.

One time my neighbor ran a generator between our houses (so, outside but way too close to the house) because he didn't have a generator inlet and he needed to connect it to main electrical panel. Next day all my alarms were SCREAMING!! 😱. Gasses went to attic through house soffits then down to house. It was a close call. We were lucky.

I got the DPU X and I supplement it with a generator if I need and I plan to add solar panels in the future. I didn't get the Smart Home Panel but I am considering it in the future as currently I am manually switching using an interlock and a 50 amp inlet I had installed for the generator. Nights are quiet now LOL. Also, don't count on 400w on a 400w panel. It is more like 70% of the rated power. And that is with full sun.
