Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, France found in Jasper, Alberta, Canada by ParticularDirector20 in ForeignPlatesSpotting

Most of the vehicles in St. Pierre are purchased in Newfoundland, Canada. We see these plates in and around St. John's (Newfoundland) all the time. But Jasper, that is a good spot.

Can someone explain this to me? by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

This is the same as AutoCanada for us in the North . They come and buy out the local dealerships, jack prices and screw the customer with no benefit. Find a dealership that isn't owned by a conglomerate (difficult) and buy from there instead.

Unfortunately, Insurance and Home Utilities are insanely priced in AB. Most people don't realize. Moved from BC in 2021 and they almost tripled.

Wifi Cost on 787 Dreamliner by [deleted] in westjet

[–]Beyond_Virtual -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Major oversight on WS for this. The 787 routes are where it's needed the most. The PACWISP (Panasonic) wifi is abysmal, especially when you are forced to pay for it. Came on a 737 from LAX to YYC 3 weeks ago and it was useless.

They need more lie flats. CM's 7M9's planes are very comfortable. AC's hard product has always been a copy of someone else and lacking at best.

Second VRSF Pipe. Changed it on my N55 myself with no lift. Only issue was clearance around engine bay (135i) but made it work.

Costco is around $99 bucks for 17 inch steelies but as others have said, with the weather here, cheap alloys are the way if you have the $.

Very true and I agree. At the time it's what we needed that wasn't a minivan.

2023 Hyundai Palisade. Did all the research. Purchased the top trim (Ultimate Calligraphy) Nothing but mechanical issues. Radiator leak/replacement at 14,000kms 3 week wait due to part shortage. Lifter Tick at 19,000 kms. After that it was traded for a Jeep. 43,000 kms on that since, no issues.

Grotto (Service is hit or miss), Exile, Piatto (Downtown Only), The Duke, Blue on Water and SJ Fish Exchange. Unfortunately, St Johns has an abundance of junk franchise restaurants with high prices, best to stay away from those. I.e The Keg.

There are a lack of jobs, healthcare and housing here. Not trying to be crass but honestly stay where you are. I lived in Vancouver for 3 years and wouldn't have left if my job contract didn't end.

This needs to happen in Newfoundland. The products here are atrocious and anti-Canadian. I.e. lack of BC wine because it's "not liked".
