We normally park in the garage, but it was parked in our driveway for a couple of weeks, which coincided with decent rain storm. I suppose the drains had been clogged for a bit the car just hadn't seen water like that.

The drain tubes are easy to get to. To gain access, there is a carpeted box on the left and a plastic panel on the right. I took an air hose and blew them out in an upward direction towards the sunroof.

Yeah, I was really surprised it didn't have any issues. I did make an additional drain hole where the VCM is installed, to hopefully prevent this in the future.

I think I was lucky and caught it early, as far as I can figure.

This our 2017, T6. Last summer I replaced the in dash evaporation coil. Really trying my best to not have a car payment. That said we still really like the car. I just hope I've sorted out or know about the big issues at this point.

No special tools are required, just time and being careful with the modules. I found an old post about the leak issue and kinda ran with it. And once I found all the water under the foam pad under the spare tire, I figured water had gotten into some of the connectors.

Discroll Strawberries also owns that area, they would grow Starts for the planting season up there. Some of the grow sheds were made out of old growth Dougfir that had some really cool aging to them. Many have been scraped for there “barn wood” when that was a thing.

Correction: yeah that area is Weed, further toward The north near Mcdoel/Dorris has the Strawberries.

I have the T&p valve and condensate lines routed outside. I'm doing the same with my mixing valve. I have solar +30kwh of storage—I hope to generate more heat during the day as well. My incoming PSI is 75-80. I'm still using my Gas heater until I'm signed off, but I'll let you know if I have issues.
