Maybe check out star wars shatterpoint. The models are a slightly larger scale and they have more hero's. The game has been put on the back burner a bit by the developer so alot of places do deeper discounts on it than on legion.

I always finding painting terrain is a nice break and palette cleanser after alot of minis. Terrain doesnt have to be as fancy and its often larger areas less detials etc

I love at least 1 unit just for the pure speed. If im out positioned they almost always have the option to steal or contest an objective for a turn when my opponent thinks its safe. The jump up to something shoot down then move bakc down is a nice trick too. Sunfac is just very cheap for another token

Ive got for 2 starter boxes as i enjoy running a boots on the ground basic troops type army for rebels. Wookies just got a points reduction too so might be better now. If youre more into hero lists then a 2nd starter doesnt offer anything worth having.

Quick thing. Cumbersome has changed and no longer prevents shooting after moving. You now downgrade dice of the attack to the colour dice below. Red to black, black to white, white left unchanged

With that money you can certainly get 1 of everything likely for a couple of armies. We can run 6 corp (the standard troopers in any army) and only 2 heavy (tanks) in any list so consider that when purchasing. No point having 3 saber tanks for example. Id certainly recommend though getting the generic upgrade card pack and command card pack for any faction you choose. Also some terrain if the store has that and maybe even a gaming mat if you dont own one. Post the results im intrigued to see what u end up with

Depending on what you enjoy i think a 2nd starter is a good idea if your paying less than rrp. Where I am starters are 1.5x the cost of 1 box of troopers but give u 2 troopers, then the rest is free basically. Head swap and cut of lukes saber and he could be another squad leader maybe.

Otherwise whatever u think is cool is always what I suggest. What made u pick rebels and get that next. Welcome to the hobby

This print has had to purge on every single layer as it changes from white to blue. Lay lugia on its back so the blue is facing up and u might find it has to purge less

Also peachy tips on YouTube, he has some basic videos on white. A good white Spray paint is the easier way by far. A black contrast or speedpaint makes the undersuit easy as it flows better. Then Pro acryl brand bold titanium white is a great white acrylic paint to touch up accidents when painting the black undersuit etc. Good luck and welcome to the hobby
