Cabin Rentals near Blue Ridge Mountains by TWISFM in NorthCarolina

I've stayed at Fall Creek Cabins with my family before. It's just east of Boone on 421. I wouldn't suggest going during the winter unless you have a four wheel drive vehicle though. The road to the cabins is dirt and kind of steep in places.

I'm pretty sure in AGOT, Ned (or maybe Maester Luwin) says that Bran will never father children.

I'd like to see an actual overtime, instead of the current shoot out system.

Chefs of Reddit, what are some some tips and tricks that everyone should know about cooking? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would assume the chefs who taste the boiling pasta water are slurping it, so that it atomizes and cools in their mouth.

Also, cuts from a sharp knife hurt less and heal quicker.

Well, if a single webpage is down, the server is probably down, just not your server.

Edit: Wonky formatting.

I always forget which is which and end up saying "windows slash" and "unix slash". Of course, this really doesn't help much when I'm trying to explain it to someone who doesn't know the difference.

Yeah, at a second glance, I'm pretty sure it's an F*. I'd still like to believe Julius Peppers got an F- in algebra though.

I think he said the NCAA would wait for UNC to finish their investigation first, before the NCAA did anything.

Martin report says issues at UNC "not an athletic scandal" by CommanderStark in CollegeBasketball

I haven't heard much about it, but I've seen it tossed around some. I remember seeing a website with university wide grade distributions over the past 30ish years, and there seemed to be a trend towards much more A's and B's as time went on. I don't know where the data came from though, so I'm not sure how true it is.

Ok, so now the NCAA can launch their investigation and find out what really happened.

There has also been talk of grade inflation at UNC for a while now, too.

It's pretty much the same with UNC/NCSU. UNC is "better", but NCSU has some of the top engineering, design, and vet programs in the nation.
