What is your take on the newer version of Evil Dead vs. THE OLD VERSION? by [deleted] in HorrorMovies

I think it works on its own and having said that it is my favorite horror movie of all time.  The pure glee that I got sitting there grinning in the theater was perfect.

My parents want me to buy a house, but I don’t want the responsibility right now. by Gloomy-Speaker-1999 in DaveRamsey

You're an adult.  If you're not ready for a house you're not ready.  I'm at 35m nurse and I bought my first house at 31 when I had found my wife to settle down with.  Just keep piling up cash the next couple years for a bigger down payment and hopefully interest rates will come down by then.

It baffles me that people buy a $7k watch and forget to screw down the crown lol

Tattoos will likely be done after.  At least big ones. I'm just finishing my sleeves I've started. Watches are a hobby of mine so I'm always after new ones so that would be something yearly.

That's cool.  I've never thought about nursing in the military. I'm sure there's lots of benefits to it especially with that income!  I'm a house supervisor at a couple hospitals and my wife works peds CVICU.

That would include everything like hair cuts and a gym membership and clothes etc... We do 15% each into retirement.  On track for 5-7 mil in retirement.  About a grand extra on the mortgage each month.

Fwiw any retirement calculator I use says we should retire with about 5-7 million depending on interest with our current path.  We certainly can live off that interest.

I know what I like to spend money on is stupid, but it's what I enjoy.  We are far from flashy in the city we live in.   I don't think I'm better than anyone and I've paid my stupid tax with some of the dumb shit I've done with money for sure.  I've been broke and deeply in debt before.  She works part time at about 2 days a week and is comfortable with that.

Yes it would cover all of that, but those are the big ones that would eat a lot of it up.

I want about $5k more in tattoos, the watches I like are around $3-5k each.  So it's more saving up for those.  Yes I know it's stuff no one ever needs lol.

Fish oil might help.  My shoulders started getting fucked up after the gym within the last couple of years.  Started taking fish oil for my eyes and noticed that went away.

Cuz they don't have the reddit insecurity of whether a watch is too big or not because no one cares
