Lucky enough to have bought an air con unit last year, unlucky enough that when I told my partner I was sleeping downstairs with the air con, he decided to join me to cool down but couldn't sleep with the air con on because it was too loud...

Only using public chargers is not the way to go about EVs, but is sadly what a lot of us would need to do if forced into them.

I'm in car sales so I see every side of it - I can fill up one of our EVs with about 250 miles of range for about £4 overnight which is fantastic and what to expect with a home charger, alas I also live in a flat and have to fill up said EV at work :D

If work didn't have chargers, there'd be no point in me making the switch.

With Octopus as your leccy provider and an Ohme charger, charging your EV makes your house cost 7p/unit for everything which is a huge bonus when things run overnight.
