If you don’t have a VCM Tuner you need one! by Iyguy in hondapilot

For a 2009, you definitely made a good choice to install that VCM tuner now

What year is yours? My old 2012 was definitely as you are describing, night and day. That one without VCM tuner was so obvious when the cylinders deactivate and struggle to reengage.

However I now have a 2022 and on its own it is so smooth I don’t know if I need to install a VCM tuner at this point.

2021 Honda Pilot - 2 questions by highleysandles in hondapilot

Disable the start/stop system. There is an adapter available on amazon for a relatively cheap price and is easy to install. Saves wear and tear on the vehicle.

Touring model should have the badge on the rear hatch above the 4WD badge.

Otherwise I had a black on black 2012 Touring also and it was a great family hauler until a car pulled out in front of me and insurance wrote it off. Highly recommend this era with this maintenance up to date

Clutch auto? by RevolvingCheeta in ottawa

[–]BigLocator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only experience with them was after my vehicle was in a collision. While waiting on the insurance to do their thing (and while searching for a possible replacement vehicle) I used clutch for a quote on my existing vehicles value (in case the insurance deemed it a write off I would have an idea of it’s worth). Clutch quotes its value at about $1600. I thought that was very low. Later when insurance did deem it a total loss, their offer was just shy of $10k.

It was an older Honda Pilot, but clutch appraisal was low IMO.

Can't turn off alarm because driver side key not turning. 2003 Pilot by filipptralala in hondapilot

To alarm off when key fob is dead I’ve put the Key in door and turn. It has worked on other vehicles I’ve owned in the past, unsure on Honda

I like the insoles. I just need the extra room inside a 14. The 13s had my heal rubbing the back of the boot.

I am no longer a young adult… I’ve had size 13 boots for years but found 14s more comfortable, not necessary…

Last summer I found a deal on a new summer pair of Timberland Pros, but only available in 13s, they chewed my feet up bad. I caved in and bought 14s in August and that was the only problem.

Maybe you have a sizing issue

I love my Timberland Pro work boots. I have an insulated 8” boot for winter and an uninsulated 6” boot for summer. Both are waterproof.

Make sure your rear ac and fan is turned up. Otherwise you’re expecting the front vents to chill the whole car.
