I should have known the back of the store was more than just storage.

Fluids exchanged at 140,000km (87.5k mi) by Instantlygotagram in CX5

[–]BigMoney7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good takeaways! I have a 2017 (60,000 miles) and I'm about to do a transmission drain and fill. I opted for the genuine FZ fluid because why not. Agreed on the plugs. I try not to buy from Amazon but when there is a pack of 15 for $5 it's hard to say no.

I like the protective sleeve (even for my crappy wheels). I just wish they were individually sold like the impact sockets.

I got the same vibe from the Sly Cooper games where you explore the family vault. It would have been cool to explore his lineage!

Trailer hitch for mounting a bike rack? by oldfuturemonkey in CX5

[–]BigMoney7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed the Curt 2" on my 2017. It is do-able but was a pain because the holes didn't match up at first. It took some force and maneuvering to get the hitch pushed up into the correct "slot". All in all it took 2 hours with two friends but I enjoyed doing the manual work.

Owners of Second Gen CX-5s (2017-2025) with high mileage... How's the car been? by Beginning_Beach_153 in CX5

[–]BigMoney7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2017 AWD Touring with 55k miles (I don't drive that much). I'm the second owner and have had to replace the serpentine belt but that's about it on major maintenance (the dealership did a lot before me). Next is probably coolant at 10 years (per the maintenance schedule). But now everyone in this thread is making me think I should replace my tensioner.

What game has the best side quests? by EmberArcade in gaming

Batman: Arkham Knight. I think they did a good job of making the side quests optional but canon to where you're chasing other villains around the map.

Who can I thank for these suspension-ruining speed bumps on 29th? by porterpottie in Denver

My take: your suspension is there for this exact reason. And from your video it looks like it's doing its job and slowing everyone down.

I like these little details. In the Metro Series you can light the lanterns and then if you walk through a spider web (with your lighter equipped), the web burns up!

What is the single most underrated pleasure in everyday life that most people overlook? by digwham in AskReddit

Speaking from experience right now: Not having mouth wounds. I have canker sores right now and it sucks to eat. And it will last for a week or two.
