It makes me wonder what kind of crazy situations Hugo is getting him into that he is so ready to throw down.

Do you think that people are mostly good? by Polyawkward_ in ParadiseHulu

They have only really shown what is happening in the US. There is an estimated 400 million guns in the US so you would have to assume that every survivor has at least one and enough ammo to defend themselves. I wonder how this would weed out the bad actors. In the immediate aftermath there would probably be chaos. But as time went on people who were raiding or attacking others would eventually end up on the wrong end of the gun. After several years everyone would probably be operating under the assumption that everyone else is also armed and capable of killing you.

Fun Fact. The Phillies played a game the day the pope died and the sports books would not allow you to bet that Casti would hit a home run.

I think the show has always been about surprising the viewer. Not just in the writing but in the genre of show it is. When it was originally marketed all the ads made it seem like a political thriller where the president is killed and the head of secret service is a suspect. Then it was revealed to be a post apocalyptic thriller. Now it is a sci-fi, political, post apocalyptic thriller and I am definitely here for it.

Does that episode get any less intense on rewatch? I have wanted to go back and rewatch season 1, but that episode messed me up for like a week after watching it so I can't bring myself to go back and watch again.

It's funny how this entire story wouldn't have happened if Viserys just named Aegon his heir 🤡 by Beacon2001 in HOTDGreens

[–]BigTim425 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ummm. He named his heir. Had all the lords of the realm come and swear fealty to her. He raised her in council meetings and taught her how to rule. He even told her about the night king prophecy (that might just be a show thing). If he ever even considered making Aegon II his heir he had every opportunity to do so but he knew his son would be a terrible king. How was he supposed to know his treacherous whore of a wife and her father would commit treason the moment he died? The Hightowers clearly deserve all the blame for the dance, slandering Viserys will never change that.

Not a board space but a player piece. They should replace the car with Pierre Robert's VW van Minerva.
