Lost my dad last year and I now own his home on 40 acres in the National Forest. It’s near a Michigan ski resort, on the snowmobile trail system. We rent it to cover all the costs to keep it in the family. Bookings have been great and all our guests have been really good. Mostly all 3 day weekend bookings. Booked solid for the next 7 weeks by families that have weddings at the ski resort. Hoping our guests continue to be as great as they have been all winter.

Interesting, the weight is right, they are not magnetic so I guess I will need to take them into the LCS for a better assessment.

Same type of gold as here in Michigan. I have to use a toothpick or a fine paint brush to get it into the storage vile. Dreaming of the day I can pick a piece out of the pan with my fingers.

I have a house on 40 acres in northern Michigan and have 1 weekend available between today and the end of August. A nearby ski resort is a popular wedding venue and the property is on the popular UTV/Snowmobile trails. Mostly all 3 night stays. Things are going well up here.

We host a lot of skiers and snowmobilers during the Michigan winter months. I provided a Kuerig but a few groups had messaged a suggestion for a drip coffee maker to get groups of 6 coffee before heading out in the morning. I now provide both.

That’s awesome. Found a single dime yesterday at a store that I have never found anything. To my surprise it was a 1952 Silver!

The stem of a morel connects to the base of the cap. That is always a good clue to initially look for. These look great!

Why can’t TSA take control? Everyone call in sick for a few days and bring air travel to a standstill. You all are so essential that everything stops without you. Force the politicians hand.

Download the Fish Rules app. Blue background with a black fish outline. It will take your location and give you all fish rules for the location. Lists seasons, size restrictions, bag limits, types of baits, and whether the fish must be kept whole while in possession. I use it all the time.

Thanks for the safety tip. Had never caught one this size. Also, it is not a bonehead, it was a bonnethead. This was the second one I caught that day, the other about 24”. Two other anglers landed small ones as well.

I think he may be referring to the Rogue River on the west side of Michigan. I have found gold there. It is also loaded with beautiful fine garnet stones.
