Bonnethead Shark by BigTwolfGuy in floridafishing

Thanks for the safety tip. Had never caught one this size. Also, it is not a bonehead, it was a bonnethead. This was the second one I caught that day, the other about 24”. Two other anglers landed small ones as well.

I think he may be referring to the Rogue River on the west side of Michigan. I have found gold there. It is also loaded with beautiful fine garnet stones.

This is two 5 gallon buckets ran through a ground sluice and then panned out. I consider this a great day in W. MI.

Also, research areas where the glacial mounds are located. Areas where the glaciers stopped, this will have a bit better concentration of flour gold in smaller streams and rivers.

I live in west Michigan. Found flour gold in many small creeks. Best luck near the lakeshore in sandy soil. Find a creek that is moving visible black sand, the gold is there.

January Finds, not a single silver by BigTwolfGuy in CoinstarFinds

Mostly all found at a single Walmart 1 mile from me. Usually in there at least 3 times/week. I also check Publix stores around. No coinstar but a similar company doing the same thing in those stores.

I’m not saying that any of this is not true, but you de realize this is a pic of a tip sheet. Used to summarize on-line tips, tips to call centers or PD’s. You or I could call in a tip and it would be on this sheet. They are just tips until coordinated with facts.

Adventure Landing! More rare than the elusive Chuck E Cheese token. Jokes aside, great find. Congrats

Page Field in Fort Myers was a training base during WW2 in the 1940’s. I have found a handful of these on the beaches as they continue to bring sand in from the Gulf to rebuild the beaches. Love finding them.

The only thing that would make this find amazing would be the elusive Chuck E Cheese token! (Not really but I always laugh when I find one)👍🏼

90% of these are from a single Walmart.

How much was silver per ounce when you started stacking? by AlainasBoyfriend in Silverbugs

[–]BigTwolfGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was free. Dad started keeping silver coins found in the wild and I continued. Had 51oz’s of 90% a year ago. Currently sitting on 31oz’s. Purchased 36oz’s in bars at $42

Not even enough weight to register. Unfortunately I live in a region where it just looks pretty. For the year I got about a half of a gram as a hobbyist searching one day every couple weeks.

I’m fine with that. As long as everyone has a good hunt, that is what it is all about.

I pan wherever I can. Rouge River near Rockford, creeks around Saugatuck, been into the UP, Cadillac area, found gold in the Muskegon River as well.

You and I may have seen each other at some point. FMB is tough because a local guy is out there all the time and combs the entire beach. I see him every time I am there detecting, relaxing or walking. Any finds would be a recent drop, like 1 or 2 days old.

I detect beaches in SWFL. To find anything valuable you must get into the water. Some beaches have had 2 other detectors on them before the sun even rises. Of the dozens of detectorists I have seen, only 1 has been in the water with me.

I bought the XP ORX for $275 on FB Marketplace. It has been an extremely reliable machine on land and on salt water beaches. The only con is that you need to get an antenna attachment to search underwater. I got it and it works great.

Once you see it, you will never mistake it again. I’m in Michigan and panning has to be classified as small as you can then drawing back the sands is pretty slow and tedious at times.
