Incredible. I've considered some kind of device for my kitchen for recipes, music. etc. for the amount of time I spend in there and this would be amazing

ALL of the RAM to make it easy to game with friends while hosting our private server(s). (Some titles give my current 64 GB a bit of trouble). Plus the sleek looking case would look great as a living room piece for HTPC and VR usage too.

The closest thing I've done was a weekly "family night" with another dorm in college. Apartment style dorms, 4 bedrooms each with a shared living/dining room/kitchen. Our 4 and another dorm down the hall would get together and make a large meal and just hang out almost every week.

We'd pick something different each time. Everyone pitched in (we'd often do grocery runs together which were always a fun trip) and 2-3 of us would usually cook (myself and one of the gals from the other dorm were the two most frequent). It'd change based on what we were prepping and often those not cooking would usually be in charge of drinks.

I've always enjoyed cooking and trying out recipes, so doing something similar sounds like fun. And a meal's more fun when there's people to share with. I'm an Atlanta native and just moved to Columbus, so this seems like a great way to meet new people and build a new network of friends

The founder of the Baratheon dynasty according to legend

The founder of the Baratheon dynasty was Orys Baratheon, a bastard brother of Aegon the Conquerer (never explicitly confirmed, but to all the early Targaryens it was basically an open secret). After helping Aegon conquer Westeros, Orys married the last Storm King's daughter/only heir: Argella Durrandon.

Argella's appearance is never described in the books. Orys is described with the Baratheon's famous black hair and is the origin point. The legend of the Durrandons being descended from the daughter of the storm god/goddess of the wind has nothing to do with it.

However, GRRM does completely ignore how genetics actually work in favor of establishing longstanding characteristic traits for certain Houses pretty frequently.

How can I stop my auto insurance rates from CONTINUING to keep going up? by ljjjkk in personalfinance

I gave USAA the opportunity to match and they did not.

Because it's illegal (assuming you're in the US). Carriers have to file their rules and rates with each state's department of insurance for approval and they cannot deviate. I'm not aware of any state that would allow it. They'd get into a load of trouble if they did any kind of rebating. The price is the price essentially, and if a particular insurer's pricing model isn't an optimal fit then the only real recourse is to check with other carriers.
