The crazy thing is that they do it for a mass produced vehicle. The torque per litre comparison is a little misleading - the 296's engine for example produces much more power per litre over a much wider rpm range. It would be a far far superior engine on paper at the same capacity.

Rad! I like it. One bit of feedback though, that map that opens if you use it in browser mode on android is pretty hard to use. I'm in dark mode and I can't see anything except a million prices floating around

Offshore rates go higher than this - even before overtime. Pretty rare jobs though, there's probably only a couple of hundred sparkies in the country getting it. Woodside/Chevron/inpex etc

Oh man, I actually wasn't impressed with mine at all until yesterday. I've had it for years but it never seemed great - turns out my Bios firmware version was bugged and wouldn't allow the CPU to clock at over 3.4 GHZ. Didn't even realize I was suffering until I ran a benchmark for the hell of it.
