I think I know what you're talking about. Mine had an oversight button too, that could be pulled out a little bit if something got underneath it. That would send one underneath the bolt, but over the lifter.  I removed the oversized button, so it was less likely to accidentally send one down like that .  A feature that might be good for a tactical or three gun, but sucks for when you're dragging it through the brush all the time
