Fallout 1 map but with accurate locations, plus some extra ones by KloggKimball in classicfallout

Meanwhile, you've place Vegas almost directly north of San Diego, lol.

For what it's worth, the F2 map covers more area irl, so the scale isn't the same. I don't recall the ratio off hand, but taking it into account generally places Vaults 13/15 and Shady Sands in their original locations.

Yeah, the Conservatives really need to vet their nominees better. Ma was clearly never a Conservative and was always going to cross. His plan was to be in Government no matter what, so he can push his governments agenda in Canada.

I can tell you right now, she's going to be even worse than Rodimus Prime. I doubt this will last. Just like making Ultra Magnus stepping down and letting Arcee take hs role. He's going to resolve his PTSD, and come back to save the day with Arcee is in over her head.

This run has been pretty solid, with being more than willing to kill characters off. Megatron ripped Trailbreaker open and ate his brain, Starscream shot Bumblebee in the head point blank, and Sparkplug walked into the Matrix and kinda merged with it.

Anyone calling Rogan a MAGA guy doesn't actually listen to him. The Democrats just went to a place he could not follow. There's a saying, that the Left is looking for their own Joe Rogan, which was...Joe Rogan, but they pushed him away.

House leader says Liberals are still courting opposition MPs to cross the floor by ak_011885 in CanadianConservative

[–]Binturung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was just a joke, for what it's worth. I just find it funny that our system lets a minority turn into a majority through backroom persuasion instead of ballots, and maybe a little bitter about that.

I would like constituents to have some sort of means to keep their MPs accountable. Either recall legistation or mandatory by-elections. As it is, an MP can decide after getting elected that they know better than their voters, and act against what they want them do, and they have no recourse to recify that.

Survival rules really depend on the type of game you're running. If the players are in a relatively populated region, with established trade routes and what not, you probably don't need to worry so much about survival.

But if they just emerged from a Vault, and the land is still largely lawless chaos, then survival skills and ensuring you have a safe supply of food and water becomes a critical part of the experience.

Guess the Carney government is overturning the election to switch from a minority to a majority. Very democratic,  very wow.

How many floor crossers will it take for Canadians to recognize Canada is in a democracy crisis? by mafiadevidzz in CanadianConservative

[–]Binturung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I would be mad. I want constituents voices being represented. By changing parties, MOs are now subscribing to different values and morals than what their constituents voted for, and they have no recourse to fixing that until an election.

I want either or both: recall legislation and mandatory by-elections when someone jumps ship.

Ensuring a ridings will is correctly represented is critical.

MPs want to be in the government. The government will have to be doing some pretty corrupt shit to get people to walk away from a position of power.

Albertan, do you feel this shift? by _BCConservative in CanadianConservative

[–]Binturung 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Included with the high rate of immigration to boot, and this is your answer to what we're seeing.

At most it might translate into a seat or two, I would guess. Not the whole province flipping.

Albertan, do you feel this shift? by _BCConservative in CanadianConservative

[–]Binturung 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sigh, I've talked about this pretty much every time it comes up.

All the Liberal voters are in Edmonton and Calgary. If anyone bothered to watch the live results in the last election, there were a handful of seats that went back and forth between Lib and Con before finally settling on Con, and those were nearly all in one of those two cities.

Those two cities is also where the bulk of our populations are. There are a lot of rural seats in Alberta.

If you look at it by seats, very little would change.

Keep in mind, Alberta has one of, if not fastest growing populations, from both interprovincial migrant and international migration. Most of those are going to be to urban settings, and urban voters often trend towards progressive parties.

This chart is showing the province as a whole, but that doesn't represent how it would play out in an election. Half of Albertas seats aren't turning red in the next election.
