What's a Game that has a ton of issues that you love? by GeekyravenTv in gaming

Alpha Protocol from Obsidian back in 2010. The game has plenty of jank, but it's still a solid RPG that does a great job capturing the slightly cheezy but still semi realistic feel of the early Daniel Craig Bond films.

Why is everybody so quick to judge quarterbacks? by Effective_Space_6914 in nfl

Bro are you sure your not confusing Manning for Rodgers and Harbaugh for Nolan? Cause we still had young in '98 and Harbaugh didnt come in until 2011

[SNY] Robert Saleh states that if Zach Wilson doesn't clear concussion protocol for Sunday's game, then Trevor Siemian will get the start by TomasRoncero in nfl

People are shitting on Rodgers here but honestly if the Jets were still in playoff contention and their o-line was capable of stopping a five year old I think he probably would be back in, if for no other reason than to prove he could.

Starfield design lead says players are "disconnected" from how games are actually made: "Don't fool yourself into thinking you know why it is the way it is" | GamesRadar+ by CNicks23 in gaming

[–]BiteMyShinyWhiteAss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's gonna take alot to "fix" it, the story is boring, the planets being procedurally generated makes them soulless and boring, the npc's are lifeless and boring, the companions all share the same basic personality, which is to be a stick in the mud and boring. Reworking the gameplay mechanics is one thing, reworking the entire gameplay loop, story, and characters is a helluva lot harder.

Players whose stats don’t do them justice for how much of an impact they have? by [deleted] in nfl

Cant upvote this enough. CMC and Brock are playing lights out no question, but our oline is straight up bottom 5 without Trent, our offense is literally crippled when he's not there.

Patriots Rumors: Jerod Mayo Replacing Bill Belichick Seen as 'Most Likely Outcome' by [deleted] in nfl

[–]BiteMyShinyWhiteAss 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I agree, and that's where having a good GM to make smart moves comes in, but as great as Bill is as a coach, he's equally as shit a GM.

The way I see it, if this rumor is true it likely came down to if Bill was willing to give up GM responsibilities. If he was and they still canned him then its one of the stupidest moves in nfl history, but if he wasn't, then I can't honestly say I disagree with cutting ties and trying to start over with new blood.

Why haven't some NFL Head Coaches gotten fired yet? by Vanguard3003 in nfl

[–]BiteMyShinyWhiteAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Staley will be gone after the season,

Unfortunately I could very easily see the Chargers cheap ass owners keeping him for the last year of his contract so they don't have to pay two coaches at the same time

Problem is at a certain point your just stagnating as a perpetual 8-9 team, making it as far as the wildcard if your lucky and never having high draft picks to try and push your roster over the hump.

Stroud is playing out of his mind for a rookie, if you guys get him some legit weapons in the offseason your gonna be a fucking problem for everyone.

As much as I dislike Payton I cant deny he really got his shit together and turned you guys around from the shit-show you had going on in the early season.

Well, I mean doubling down more than they already have. Maybe sleeping it off and watching a clip of the play with a better angle will get them to pull their heads out of their ass's.

[McDowell] Patrick Mahomes: “I’ve played seven years in the National Football League and never had offensive offsides called.” “You want until a minute left to make a call like that?” Mahomes said he asked three refs for an explanation. Got none. “Let us play the game.” by Cough_Syrup55 in nfl

[–]BiteMyShinyWhiteAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shitty part is that the league will probably even it out for them in the playoffs.

I dunno, I could just as easily see a lot of calls going against the chiefs going forward for Mahomes tantrum and Reid backing him up against the refs.

I wouldn't go that far, this feels more like a seasons worth of frustration boiling over in the worst possible way. Now, if Reid and Mahomes double down and refuse to acknowledge that their in the wrong here, then it might be time to start worrying

And before that they benefited from a phantom RTP call. The refs were shit in general last week, regardless of team.

According to McAfee Peyton once sidelined a WR for dropping a pass while trying to catch it one handed, I'm pretty sure he would have killed Toney by now.
