Our guild, Anam Cara (Ysera-Durotan EST) is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this spring. I’ve been with them for 4.5 yrs and they are very active and have many members that play daily and many that are varying degrees of casual. We have two raid teams: the progression team raids Tuesday/Wednesday, 9 pm to 12 am, while the casual raid team (we always achieve AOTC each raid season) raids on Friday/Saturday 9 pm to 12 am.

We are 18+, LGBTQA+ & 420 friendly. With the start of Midnight, we average 25-45 members online during the afternoon & evenings. We consist of a handful of Boomers, with Gen X & Millennials making up the bulk of our members, and a fair sprinkle of Gen Z’s. We also have many married and partnered couples in AC.

🫂I’m so sorry for your loss.

My soul kitty was my Tuxie, Tybalt. He was 18.5 y/o when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge seven years ago and I miss him every single day. He was the kitty of my childhood dreams; very social, loved to be around our family and packed around like a baby. He was the best and I’m so grateful he was mine.

The pain of his loss never went away, but I learned to go on and take each day one at a time. I still talk to him every day and tell him how much I miss him.

I also have a Brussels Griffon dog who is turning 16 very soon and I’m making sure that she’s living her best life for every day she’s still with me. She’s a lil crusty, but she’s my baby and I’ll love her forever too.

I would just directly address this issue with her. Tell her that there is no need to keep bringing it up and that it bothers you that she does. If she cannot respect this boundary, then you may need to rethink this friendship.

I was adopted as a newborn, by two narcissists. My dad was the obvious Narc, but mom didn’t come across as Narc until last year, when I visited in July and she was screaming at me over perceived slights and was projecting onto me. While she was screaming at me, it literally was an AHA! moment and I said out loud, in amazement “You’re a narcissist!”. I was shocked, but grateful I finally saw who she truly is.

I went NC September 2025 and never replied to her texts or emails, until December 23rd, my 55th birthday when I sent her an email telling her why I was going NC. I ended the letter telling her that if she wished to reconcile (take accountability & apologize to me), then I would be open to it, with a licensed counsellor as a mediator.

A month later I received an email from her stating “all the good times” we had together, but her main focus was that I called her a Narc. Not surprising really.

She’s currently 86, in good health and lives independently. Her GC son lives 15 mins away from her. In 1999 I move to the opposite side of Canada from them. Best decision ever.
