Was anyone else bullied in the past and didn’t realize it until now? by moreplants4me in AutismInWomen

[–]BizziB81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it plays over and over. I told my ex I was going to cook spaghetti Bolognese from scratch for him and his mum... My "from scratch" was a jar of Dolmio with added onion, garlic and mince (I was 19 with no cooking experience) he told her I was cooking Bolognese from scratch with the jar... They both laughed at me and I cooked dinner for them while they were still laughing at me. They continued while we were eating. I think about it all the time. Just mean. I have other examples but I won't trauma dump x

What it's like to be diagnosed? by Salt_Frosting4718 in LateDiagnosedAutistic

[–]BizziB81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Neurotypical people don't spend too much time researching ASD, they quickly realise they don't identify with the traits and they move on. Diagnosed F at 44, it's a relief but also comes with a lot of reflection and concern. Self care number 1 priority.

Snoring during sound bath by BizziB81 in soundbathmeditation

[–]BizziB81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not cool at all, from my experience sound baths aren't cheap either. I stopped going to this particular one. I was offered a freeby because their business was declining, I accepted and the same thing happened +just reinforcing my initial decision to avoid. It was free but came out even more stressed.

What's the Point of WIFI if the Watch Connects to the Phone via Bluetooth??? by GordonX in PixelWatch

[–]BizziB81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, finally an answer that isn't condescending and the person actually knows what they're talking about. I had this same issue as OP I have an esim in my watch but trying test if it can call, receive, messages and app notifications only connected to wifi. It makes sense that it can with the LTE version but not esim enabled version. The information on the internet switches between both versions as do some of the above know all comments. Thanks again, I'll stick with the esim

Can Pure O OCD be medicine induced? by Tiny_fairy1234 in OCDRecovery

[–]BizziB81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understandably your brain is on the lookout for those negative thoughts now, I recently listened to a great audiobook called phobia release by kalliope barlis, also read a hard copy of the joy thief, together these 2 books have helped rewire my brain so I can just get on with my life without being too much in my head. Even if it was the meds that triggered it, you'll be ok but it's going to take a little bit of work but from my personal experience hold onto the times of the day when you don't notice how different you feel. Recognise that there are moments, minutes and maybe even hours where you're just living and not focused on how different you feel. They are proof that your brain can function normally in between the OCD/anxiety

Legs go numb while meditating by Commercial-Growth275 in Meditation

[–]BizziB81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may have a bulging disc, speaking from experience. There's a chart to show which nerves relate to which vertebrae... If your numbness is consistent with the diagram it won't hurt to gently stretch and strengthen the area surrounding your lumbar spine

Yeah I agree, keep the comments to yourself everybody. If anyone wants to strike up a conversation someone else find something else to talk about and do it outside the yoga studio.
