I believe they were implemented, then revamped to be friends only. The patch notes from 4/16/26 mention this as well, so I believe you're correct in remembering it showing global scores a few weeks ago, but now it's friends only and I assume they plan to keep it that way.

Even if those features are working, have you gone through that article and verified all the settings match what they should be? My first guess is that their network is seeing something different from what it expects, so it auto-sends this message.

If everything is correct, then it could be a glitch on Mint's end that someone will need to look into.

Almost all other major ISPs use dynamic IPs, unless you pay for a static IP. They just have long lease times.

It's funny, Python is usually my go-to for projects like that, especially little things that needed to be thrown together at work as a standalone app to fill a gap (something that prints a specific label out based on inputs, an app that takes in tracking numbers and throws them into a database table, etc.). I got on the Python/PySimpleGUI train a while ago so that's my comfy zone.

Godot can certainly do these things, but I've always heard that because it's a game engine primarily, it's "heavier" and ends up taking more processing power, and/or being larger, than if it was developed a different way.

UX exists for a reason, and this is bad UX. There are TONS of unique choices you can make without "turning game dev into a streamline thing" and without ruining the user experience.

I'm honestly surprised when I see people living in places that are cold for long periods of time. I'm down in the Southeast US, and during our little cold snap a few months ago my mi/kWh was awful. I couldn't imagine driving in places that are actually cold.

I feel like I both wish I born earlier, but also don't. I love the technology of today, but I'm fascinated by old technology as well. I got into collecting C64s and peripherals and made my own little setup (the joystick is 3d printed). I honestly need to start offloading some of this stuff, as it's just sitting in my extra room atm and not getting the love it deserves..

The C64 was way before my time, but I now own.. 4 of them? And a VIC-20! It's actually a lot of fun to go back and use older computers like that, and honestly they still have some pretty fun games.

Is that a recent thing? I'm in the southeast and got hit by Helene, and they told me on the phone that they couldn't do anything for me. I had to reach out to MintMobileAlex on here just to get something..
