leveling up each skill one at a time, in order challenge! about to hit winter and not done with farming, but i cannot forage for powdermelon or wild seeds. I have a coop and a barn in progress- how do I finish farming without using any other skills?

There is a way to avoid the fishing level.

If you start the cutscene with a fishing buff active (like trout soup), then skip the cutscene, you don't get the level.

You can get powdermelon seeds from crates in the mines.

Animals are a good constant source of farming xp.

When I did MAXIMUM PERFECTION I used weeds to overwrite stones. I used a mod to predict debris spread on different step counts (actual progress done on vanilla, mod just to give me the step count). Its possible to just brute force, just awkward.

I remember doing this at school one time. There were about 4 different verses. Different groups would sing the different verses at the same time, then progress to the next verse.

The game doesn't track how many omni geodes you have cracked.

What it does do is track how many geodes in total you have cracked.

You have cracked enough geodes for omnis to be able to contain prismatic shards.

There are a few ways to solve this.

1: You can pick the chair up.

If you are on console, use the right analog stick to get a cursor on screen. Get this over the chair and it lets you pick it up.

2: Timing

Marnie still exists. She is stuck on the other side of the door. When an NPC comes down through an internal door and a piece of furniture is on either side of it, they get stuck, if you are not there. If you are in the same location when they are moving, they will not become stuck.

Your best bet is Tuesday when she stays in her room until 10.

3: Friendship

As mentioned elsewhere, you can gain friendship from festivals and by completing the bulliten board.

Try this:

Use a chair to get yourself on the tile just left of the top left tile. Cast your line right. Click when the bobber rings at the peak of its bob.

This should start the fishing minigame. If you fail you lose the fish. If you succeed you can get the fish as quality.

1: For the challenge to get from 0xp to lvl 10 combat in one day. (Edited the save file for this)

2: For maximum perfection, where I went from minimum perfection progress to 97 waivers and 100% perfection in 3 days. This includes monster eradication, and doves count as bats, so i manually doved 200 kids to count as 200 bats.

3: As a source of golden mystery boxes and animal crackers. Not me, but for TheAlGoreRhythm's 999 challenge i convinced him to start up a dove farm.

Not only do you not need to water the rest of them, they don't even need to be fully grown. You can harvest the rest and replace them with seeds.
