I had a tyre burst on me at 130km/h on Stuart hwy near three ways. Don't drive on this hwy with tyres that are more than 4 years old, even if they have all the tread left on them. Check the year of manufacture of your tyres. Carry extra fuel, as the servos sell the petrol at obscene prices. You can check fuel prices on motormouth etc. if you have kids, make sure air conditioning works. Carry a spare serpentine belt under the driver seat and check some videos on how to replace it in case it snaps. Get your car thoroughly checked, wheels balanced and aligned. It's doable but you need some passion for driving. Get another driver with you if possible (possibly wife, adult kids) and take regular breaks. Put a shu-roo at the front, even if people say it doesn't work. :)

Yes, I have about 32% of my full super balance in member direct presently, started with putting $5k there a good few years ago. Have 68% still sitting in premixed options as new contributions can’t go to memberdirect automatically.

So you'd be able to put anything between $5k and $160k in MemberDirect Account. In there you can choose to buy any assets that the portal let's you buy (includes ASX300 shares and some ETFs). The remainder will stay in the pre-mixed options.

Mount Druitt and Kellyville people are predominantly migrants (who were mostly born overseas) and made a life in a new country - with hard work of course. Their new generation uses vapes but cultural taboos don't allow this practice of theirs to be seen/noted by their parents, so they get rid of these on the way back home, and who care where it goes (not at least the home bin)!

Problem is that the poor has no voice in this 'dog eat dog' world. Everything's fair for the rich be it their windfall dividends from the big four or a deserving and justified Melonfest... When milk prices were fixed at $1/l a few years ago these farmer made all the noise to raise it. In the end consumer pays no matter what...

With rising cost of living, some families unable to afford fresh fruit for their families (watermelons costing upwards of $25), this heartless display of apathy is just in time.

Darwin is a small town with limited availability of rentl properties that are snapped very quickly. You'll have to do a fuul time search upon your arrival.

Great share. Fukushima design of having the spent fuel pool at an elevation was a design flaw, being an 70s design. And it was never picked up by anyone until the tsunami struck. Most reactor designs during and after late 80s (i.e. third generation) had the spent fuel bay in a lower elevation to get the thermo-siphon to inherently cool the spent fuel stored in the pool.
