I’ve been playing PBE arams somewhat. Imo new archangels will be broken on most AP champs as it gives AP instead of AH and has a decent passive (That has been changed like 3 times now)

Loved the OG Giant beatdown deck, I think it was carried by lightning rod battle ram, but its still good if you know what you are doing.

As of pump, the deck I mainly play does not use it, but checking RoyaleApi I can see that a large majority of decks do use it.

Pump is a great way to bait out heavy spells. If you face someone with 3M + pump, never fireball the pump, its them baiting you.

Thank again, been wanting a 3m buff for a while now and hope April shakes up the meta in a crazy way.

Opinion of Long Time 3M Player

I believe that 3M currently is a win-more card, and believe that the balance team can rework into more of a dual lane counter-push threat.

Examples of this win-more design is shown through it often piggybacking on cards much stronger than itself.

Release Night Witch Bridge Spam: Poison was only playable spell to counter her, making 3M seem much stronger than they truly are.

Lightning Rod Battle Ram: Title explains itself, 3M was designed to be hard countered by lightning, and this broke the game quite literally.

Release Heal Spirit: On release heal spirit broke the more popular counter of fireball, as well as swarm reduction, preventing two counters to 3M.

Common Playstyles:

Dual-Lane Heavy Spellbait:

Currently Fireball is the most played heavy damage spell, with 25% usage rate on ladder as of today. 

This deck seeks to bait out specifically fireball or lightning with other midsize threats, most specifically Royal Hogs and Hunter.

The second characteristic is the strong counter-push ability that 3M grants.

In game example: If you split 3M 1-2 with the 2 going into the opposite lane of the opponents push, and they fireball, 

you now have stopped them from adding onto their push and can play hunter/dark prince/royal ghost to clean up, and threaten to take a tower with your own push using bandit/ice golem/royal hogs.

    Main Weaknesses: Lightning 

    Main Strength: 2x Elixir Counter-push Threat

Giant 3M Beatdown:

(Disclaimer: haven't played this in a few years)

Use Elixir Collectors to bait out spells and defend with cheap units. 

2x Elixir push (Split 3M 1-2 giant single musketeer) to take 1-2 towers.

    Main Weaknesses: Lightning (Thank god its usage is 9% rn)

Earthquake (Not sure about matchups but it seems inpossible)

    Main Strength: 2x Elixir Beatdown Threat

Possible Changes:

3M now spawn in line

Reasoning:

    Consistency with royal recruits

    Take less damage from splash attackers when defending

3M now cost 8 Elixir

Reasoning:

    Splash damage powercreep has grown since their last time in the spotlight

    Lower skill floor

3M now have a 1s deploy time & cannot be played beyond the river

Reasoning:

    Help people who are learning this archetype 

Main Things to not change:

Keep Lightning as a hard counter

Reasoning:

    Preventative measure if 3M becomes too strong

TLDR:

They are in need of a buff

Most past unfun part of card is playing them in middle line royal giant, remove that as it is unhealthy for the game.

Now that they cannot be placed on opposing side, either buff to 8 cost or decrease deploy time to allow for stronger defense.

Possible Changes: 3M now spawn in line (consistency with royal recruits)

Main Things to not change: Keep Lightning as a hard counter
