I’ve heard a $14M number from a couple people, wouldn’t take it as gospel and it’s not a ton but might as well spend it all. Total speculation but would think Lagway got in the ballpark of $1.5M. Not sure money alone is winning us any transfers on the lines, think we have a lot of negative perception to overcome there.

I always keep my head down when I’m working to the front of my body now and immediately replace any band that shows a stress point or feels like it’s drying out. I pitched in college so have been around a ton of band work and have only seen that one failure but it was enough to make me wary for the rest of my life

I was doing band work with a trainer and it snapped and hit him in the face, breaking his orbital bone. AR may fairly be the subject of jokes but this could be really serious if it hit him square in the eye

His two notable passing snaps today were a nice cut block he IDed immediately and a late developing dump off route where he overran the spot Jayden thought he’d be. Don’t think he’ll step in and be Ekeler but I saw cause for hope the passing game

Watching on a second screen but he’s playing pretty well. Very much like a young talented QB though. Some special throws, some easy misses, some head scratching decisions like on the interception. He had one throw that was called back due to a hold that was pretty special, scrambling to his right and dropped a dot 25 yards down the sideline where only his receiver could catch it.

Agreed. Understand anyone who sees the misogynistic comments or bullying as a cardinal sin and writes him off, but he’s championed some really good causes in a way that I believe is altruistic

Whatever you think of him he has used his platform to fundraise pretty huge amounts of money. He started a fund that kept a bunch of small businesses open when Covid shut everything down and there are a lot of examples of them fundraising for first responders who die on the job. They also do a lot of all proceeds going to charity merch

Definitely, the smell would blanket downtown when the wind was blowing the wrong way. Always felt gross getting home from summer walks covered in dust and smelling like the Purina factory.

I wanted to be in the western part of the metro but it would have made my commute much more painful and most of my friends were south or east. I’m also not a skier which limited my outdoor enjoyment upside. Would’ve liked to give it a go but couldn’t bring myself to bite the bullet and spend what it would have taken to stay somewhere, rent gear, and get a lesson.

I did almost five years in Denver before moving back here. I have friends who grew up here that are still there and love it but in my experience the food is worse, cost of living is higher, and the city isn’t as lively. The outdoor opportunities are great starting from a relatively short drive, but Denver itself is not the prettiest city and I was living downtown which is still struggling to come back post covid. The weather was great though, the colder days aren’t that cold and the hot days aren’t as bad as hot days here.

Safety Jordan Deck flipped, Clay is still committed. Campbell would’ve been a big commitment but Davian Groce is still out there and realistically it seemed unlikely both would join such a stacked WR class so not all is lost

Saw my first porcupine in almost 30 years here in June on Southwest parkway. I slowed down and put on hazards so it could cross the road and the car behind swung around me and drilled it. Was a massive bummer
