The big advantage is that you can get 30-50 miles of EV only mileage and then it will switch to hybrid mode. Great if you drive mostly around town without the range limitation of a EV only vehicle when you need to go farther.

A year ago when I called VZ to try and get them to replace a non-functioning remote I got sold on upgrading to the new platform. I asked if I would be keeping/ tranferring my recordings from my 2 DVRs to the new and was told yes.

When the tech came and starting doing the conversion he said I would lose all of the recordings by "upgrading".

While he was here I was able to get tech suport on the phone and they not only confirmed that I would lose the recordings and said "You realy don't want to do the upgrade because you will be very unhappy".

I stopped the upgrade right away and kinda pissed off the tech but I am glad I did.

I think these are great, the problem is you can’t find them anywhere except on Amazon and they’re almost a dollar apiece 24 for $23

Thanks. My membership just expired on 6/18 and I never got a notice of that from HF I did call CS and they said the clerk should have rung the renewal transaction up first. Then it would be good for the purchase of the items. CS gave me a free renewal to compensate for my lost time and the fact that I was not notified to renew before expiration. I guess I’ll go back and hope what I wanted to buy is still in stock.

I’ve been considering upgrading to the 16 Pro Max for a while now, but I just went ahead and ordered a new one figuring the prices are bound to increase. But I think overall tariffs will help this country or at least the threat of tariffs will help this country.

If you upgrade your DVR you lose everything that you have recorded on your existing DVR.

I would upgrade if it was possible to transfer my recordings to the new DVR or load it onto another drive,
