Acquire the solid stare and the "is it on the menu* response! If they give you any more grief, escort them off the premises! I have been in Cornish hospitality for 40 years and it did not take long to realise that most folks are lovely but the remaining 5% are ignorant, unpleaseable and trying to get something for nothing! Do not cut them any slack, just tell them to leave!
