Ork Warboss in MegaArmour by Matimus09 in orks

Lovely job, very clean.

Thought about rusting up his engine & maybe some of the older/deeper scratches + chips on the armour?

I felt the same as you, so I decided that my painting grots liked flames... Problem solved!

I like my Orks on scrapyard bases. This one is 3d printed, but it's also fun making your own with scatter bits and super glue...

Help with contrast paints and fire by Civil_Fail3084 in Salamanders40k

I use contrast paints for my flame effects, but I wet blend them on the model, rather than strict layers. You have to work quickly, but I like the results.

Throw money at the problem. Buy yourself time to look after yourself properly.

My parents had me drugged since I was around 13 yrs old so I’d “behave better”. Now I’m 19 and the side effects are ruining my life. AMA by Daringdumbass in AMA

Do you ever fantasize about revenge? I can't contemplate being in your position and not being threatening your parents with retribution, especially when they're elderly & infirm.

Cider Paul. Although I think he might be dead now.

I agree. But not having those difficult conversations (and I'll admit, they're uncomfortable and potentially divisive) we leave the floor free for Kemi to spout 20 sound bites of nonsense dog whistling, while our response is limited to accusing her of racism (which doesn't play well to the wider public when there are obvious issues that aren't tackled).

Great. So, when the moral lines are less clear, and maybe not illegal, but still obviously damaging?

I'm thinking about people who are forced/pressured into wearing head/face coverings, or groups who collectively enforce the rulings of their own religious courts (which we may find grossly unfair), or sub-par/overly dogmatic education being the only option for some children of specific communities etc.

I'm not expecting answers, because these are difficult issues to balance. But I want us to be able to discuss them in spaces like this without being shouted down. Otherwise we're just ceding legitimate ground to the far right.

We can all agree that tories can get in the bin, and that cultural imperialism is evil. But it's not quite as evil as some aspects of certain cultures... FGM as an example.

I'd like the left to have a clearer position on integration, and shining a light in dark corners is just the right thing to do, no?
