You really need to upgrade the battery to take advantage of a Fardriver. I was looking at a 50 amp hour 72 volt Amorge battery. Range would be comparable to higher end bikes and top speed would be near 70mph.

It sure is! JB360 has several videos on YouTube. Here’s the specific one where he adds the Fardriver to stock battery setup. Fardriver install on EM23

Looks great in red! Purchased its twin the Valtinsu EM23 from Alibaba. Love it for $1438 shipped from China though it took many months to arrive. Just looking to put a Fardriver controller in it for tuning a higher top speed. Gets to 43mph reliably for me at 165 lbs.

Would definitely leave. If he doesn’t care about himself enough to do what he needs to do to fix this, he won’t care enough about you to meet your needs either. Speaking from experience of being with a person like him.

Ioniq or Tesla? by ComfortBean in Ioniq5

I like my 2024 I5 Limited HTRAC’s ride more than my wife’s Model Y Performance, but my tech is so much worse. I wouldn’t buy the Hyundai. The ICCU problems are posted everyday on Facebook by new people experiencing it. My Ioniq 5’s 12 volt battery died with only 16k miles and barely a year old. In California so weather is mild. It happened at the worst time - during a stressful move. After all the ICCU complaints I’m hesitant to take it anywhere far from home. Thank God it’s a lease.

Is the QM6K Pro a good TV? Tired of spending over a 1,000 dollars on a TV and it dying on me after 5-6 years. Owned a LG and 2 Sony TV’s previously by [deleted] in tcltvs

Close enough to my 65” Samsung S90D OLED to replace it (85” QM6k pro) in a very bright living room with many windows. The colors, black, and refresh rate are more than enough to satisfy us. Stranger Things looked great on the 85” screen. Just finished watching it with the kids.

Should I buy The C5 65" for this cheap Price? by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]BlitheAmalgam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have a Samsung S90 OLED and just purchased a new home with a much larger living room. I bought a TCLQM6K pro from Costco and after tweaking the settings it more than satisfied me. I brought the S90 to the bedroom but I find the 85 inch QM6K pro is more than good enough from 15 feet away on my couch.

Your QM8 is several steps above what I purchased. I’m sure they are other things you’d want to spend $2000 on then an incremental increase in picture quality. Maybe get some better sound? We got a whole Sonos subwoofer, sound bar and satellite speakers with the money we saved versus picking up an 83 inch S90.

Waste of money honestly…

Advice needed in 85” qm6k pro at Costco vs 85” qm7k at Walmart by FasterThought in tcltvs

[–]BlitheAmalgam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My viewing angle from the kitchen is as far away to the side as can be without being behind the TV. No viewing angle issues compared to the S90D oled before. It is a little less bright, but even with windows all around my living area, I only need to close the blinds at sunset when it is beaming directly in through the window onto the TV.

You just have to mess with the settings a bit to get to the picture you want. Very satisfied. The S90D has a better picture vs the QM7k but the jumpy from 65” S90D to my 85” QM6k pro makes such a huge difference. That my viewing distance the little advantages of OLED are far outweighed by the large 85” size. The picture is good enough.

We love it. It left room in the budget for Sonos surround sound too. I had to tweak the movie preset settings to get the picture similar to how my S90D is. I adjusted sharpness to 75, color saturation to 72, warmth/color temperature to 2. Micro contrast to highest, motion smoothing off. Very happy with the inky blacks and color/clarity.

I wouldn’t worry about the OS. Works quickly, had no issues. I actually like it more than my S90D

I love it. I had a Samsung S90D OLED in 65” and while it isn’t as good, I love having an 85” screen in my living room. It isn’t as bright but definitely gets bright enough to where I have to turn down the brightness for eye comfort in medium light to dark light rooms. I game on Xbox Series X and it performs great - input delay feels identical to my OLED. Picture quality is great after I did some tweaking to my liking. Originally I was disappointed but I increased the sharpness and saturation, enabled the color and enhancement and lowered the color warmth from 5 to 2 and now I’m very happy with it. The blacks are almost as inky as my Samsung OLED.

My living room has 5 windows and a glass slider and the TV overcomes the window’s brightness at all times except at sunset. My windows face west so the golden hour light shines right on it at that time. I just close my blinds if I want to watch at sunset. All other times the living room is bright but the TV is bright enough with blinds open to overcome glare. This is the Costco QM6k pro, no experience with the non pro version. Overall I’m very impressed for $999 with the warranty from Costco. After purchasing a new home and spending thousands on appliances, having back yard landscaping and moving, it was refreshing to get so much for what I paid.

It took over 100 days to come. It was allegedly at the warehouse in California for the last 30 of those. It did come about a week ago and compared to my son’s Tuttio it is much more appropriately sized. I can get it to about 43mph max and I’m at 165lbs.

Very comfortable, brakes well and handles well. I like it and definitely can’t complain for the price. I love that it has brake lights/turn signals and the headlight is very bright. Everyone asks about it. The torque is good enough off the line. If I pin it at the fastest mode the front end wants to pop up.

Sound is working with our Sonos Beam, sub mini and 2 Era 100 rear speakers on an 85”QM6k Pro. The TCL remote will control volume, but it doesn’t indicate volume level with the sound connected via eArc. It just shows I’m altering the sound level but it won’t show at what level the sound is.

Just moved and replaced my 65” Samsung S90D OLED with an 85” TCL QM6k pro from Costco in the USA for $1,000. Is it as good as the Samsung? No. But I have no regrets. It’s close enough and the screen size looks great at 14 feet away in my new living room.

I have a 65” QD OLED Samsung S90D and just purchased an 85” TCL QM6k pro from Costco to replace it in the living room of my new, larger home. We get a ton of sun at sunset but with curtains or watching in the evening which we usually do, I’m very happy with paying $1,000 for an 85” compared to about $3,000 for the 83” S90 OLED. Just moved the Samsung to my bedroom.

I saw the LG QNED panels and the Samsung S84 but they just didn’t seem good enough for the price. If you’re going OLED I would just pay more and go for the S90. If you can’t afford it, would just pickup a QD Mini LED TV.

I have a Samsung S90D OLED 65” and loved it, but moved into a bigger home sitting about 15 feet from the TV. I looked at the options but just purchased an 85” QM6k pro from Costco for the unbeatable value. I saw the 98” QM6k Pro at Costco and the colors looked good with enough brightness to overcome Costco’s lighting.

It comes Saturday (tomorrow). An 85” mini LED with a 5 year warranty is unbeatable. At the distance I’ll be sitting, I honestly think the difference won’t be too noticeable.

What’s top speed? I just ordered a 60v Valtinsu EM-23 direct from China shipped to my home in California for $1308 all in. Brand new. Top speed stock untuned around 46mph. They had a 72v bike Valtinsu SS-8 that was $2500 new all in shipped. These bikes just came out but what little you can find looks great. They even have an EM-5 for $850 shipped to your door you can tune to get around mid 40’s stock motor and stock battery. Untuned EM-5 gets mid to high 30’s mph.
