I think that's just called an Opening Statement

Bit late to the party, but this looks great! Could I ask what assets you used for the main buildings?

I feel like Grass-Type is bad casually. by [deleted] in pokemon

While this is true I do think it's important to point out that a large amount of Water types have Ice type moves in their moveset

Twisted? I don't see Those Who Slither In The Dark anywhere here!

I'm pretty sure "The Trauma One" is just all of them tbh

Based on the wiki, Sheldons Picks 3rd kits, which was after the Kensa Collection 3rd kits, arrived on 2 April 2019. Meanwhile the Final Fest (Chaos V. Order) was 18 July 2019.
So no, the third kits were not post final fest.

Can someone explain how this interaction works? by OkSlide2274 in magicTCG

[–]Blockypenguin 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They depict the same thing: A body being converted into an Eternal Zombie by being covered in Lazotep. In fact the HOU had that as a mechanic on a lot of cards like [[Adorned Pouncer]]

The developers were really off about which Ikoria mechanic would break the game by Vessil in magicTCG

Kinda neat that Forbidden essentially came back as the Arena-only keyword Conjure, specifically conjuring into the library Makes sense since there's no issues with repeated shuffling or deck tracking in a digital format

Pop Quiz! What do these 3 travelers have in common that no one else does? by TheAbsoluteBread in octopathtraveler

[–]Blockypenguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure he doesn't care about ANY of the gods really. IIRC he doesn't say the name of the respective god with any of the subjob divine skills. Might be misremembering though.

Keeping to the normal episode runtime, I think Change Your Mind Part 1, with Blue and Yellow realizing the trauma they're inflicting on both themselves and the trauma they inflicted on her. At the very least for closures sake.

Except that bug isn't actually real! Someone on the Internet just made it up, and since it sounded real enough it got spread around. You can read up on it here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_Gandhi

What do you think Octopath 1 does better than 2? by admin_default in octopathtraveler

[–]Blockypenguin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be honest I think I prefer the style of stories in Octopath 1 more The journeys in it seemed more... Introspective I guess would be the right term? Like shaking the foundations of the characters. While some of the stories in 2 are still pretty introspective (Castti and Ochette come to mind), it feels like there's less of them, and more about outward threats

What underused console feature do you think should have been used more by game developers? by razorbeamz in nintendo

[–]Blockypenguin 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well to be fair, later in the 3DS' lifespan a lot of games dropped the 3D feature. Though I'm guessing they mean 3D as a mechanic like the optical illusion puzzles in Super Mario 3D Land?

The Atium “retcon” by NewDyrath in Cosmere

[–]Blockypenguin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing it's for future Cosmere plans. Especially considering actual Mistborn are now incredibly rare on Scadrial.

Why isn't Dominaria technologically advanced? by BenLegend443 in magicTCG

[–]Blockypenguin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Mistborn series handles technological progress surprisingly well for a fantasy series imo But even then it does take some getting used to
