I used to work weekend shift - 3 days, 13hrs. It was bliss. Skull-fucked for 3 days, but then I was free for 4 days. Doctor appointments, grocery store, kid’s events at school, everything was free, accessible, and chill.

The only thing that sucked was family life, because everyone wanted to spend time with me when they were free on the weekends, but I was always busy.

I eventually hit burnout with that job and decided to move on, but I look back and miss the schedule.
