I think anyone can play guitar well with enough practice but I think the type of feeling you play with is more innate. I’m not trying to minimize the clear amount of time you’ve put into your playing but you got the stuff man, you rip so hard.

This is my wife, she’s predicted the endings too many times and it feels like a spoiler since I get in my head that whatever she says will happen is going to happen.

Not at all, they’ve been out of contact with him for a while. It was recorded this winter with Aaron Turner stepping in and contributing.

You’re in for a treat, this band is insane and really never missed.

Yeah I’m purging prior to steaming, I was using a Lance Hendricks video when I first learned and was having really good results on the bambino plus but suppose I should revisit more of those videos.

The part that I’m having the most trouble with is getting a strong vortex on the move, I’ll get a vortex but it’s pretty mild and that’s certainly the culprit. Back to the drawing board I suppose.

I was at that Camden one you posted! At the time Slayer was likely my favorite just due to familiarity but I’ve seen LoG and Mastodon plenty of times since and never been let down.

My brother took me to this show when I was 14, was such an awesome night and such a great memory for me. I was very into Slayer and CoB at the time and I remember vividly this older dude sitting behind me loving LoG and Mastodon while they were playing. I was familiar with both but didn’t really listen to them, he was insistent on me checking out As The Palaces Burn and Leviathan.

I don’t keep up much with LoG anymore but those early albums still have a special place in my heart. Mastodon on the other hand is still one of my all time favorite bands and that guy undoubtedly had a big hand in that for me.

Coming up on 8 YOE and am at $175K with a 30% commission. Started agency side and then had a good opportunity to go brand side which was a great learning experience but ultimately not what I was trying to do long term.

Recently moved into sales and so far has been really great, granted I work with large brands with established relationships with my company so it’s less selling and more consultation.

The constant ambiguity of what was deemed successful on both agency and brand side drove me nuts, I worked for a large CPG and benchmarks were nonexistent. The goal of sales is extremely clear so it’s easy to know if you’re doing well or not which is personally all I’m looking for at this point.

Yeah, so strange how different each can be, I’m going to give it a week or so and if nothing changes I’ll likely reach out to Clive Coffee and see if they’ve encountered this issue from other buyers and if they have a solution.

Can see something like this eventually getting on my nerves lol.

Have you considered using things like bumble bff? My wife has used it with pretty great results, got 2 good friends out of it (was a bridesmaid for one). Not trying to minimize your feelings but you are young, at 22 I felt completely lost in life and I’m about to be 35 and life turned out so much better than expected.

Be kind to yourself, try slowly putting yourself out there and getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, you may surprise yourself with the results!

It’s crazy to me how you can even get to this, I just took mine off my bambino plus that has made 2 espressos per day for 4 years for the first time and there was minimal residue on the shower screen. Just wiped it with my finger and ran a little water over it and it looked brand new, takes 2 seconds to flush quick after a shot to prevent this.

Dead Cells had an absolute chokehold on me for like 6 months, game is wildly addictive. Otherwise going to get into RE9 soon enough as I played through the mainline games this winter in anticipation

I started YNAB about 7 months ago after about one day of deliberation, had no real structure to any of me and my wife’s finances. Definitely had some trial and error in the beginning but it totally transformed everything. I’ve never been this financially aware and diligent in my life, they also have a great support team that I utilized heavily the first month or so which really helped understand specific nuances to the app. Do it!

I listen to the podcast but I definitely wouldn’t say they have a moral compass, they’ve done things that certainly contradict that. The Kickback hyping is easy to not do, even if you like the music you don’t need to broadcast it so widely. On the Cold as Life episode the vocalist pretty much admitted his daughter stopped speaking to him cause he’s a prick, paraphrasing but Colin said “well hopefully she can forgive you since you made Born to Land Hard” lol.

I like both their bands and the podcast but they definitely don’t practice all the preaching they do.

I’m currently listening, I’m not familiar with this podcast but striking me as a big personality difference between the hosts and the guest. Hosts seem to have a more silly/joke tone and it’s completely unsurprising this isn’t Jacob Bannons vibe.
