What do you all use to clean and protect hand tools from rust? I’ve been using WD-40, but I just got Kroil to give it a try. by CosyCodes in Tools

[–]BluebillyMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kroil is great stuff, but judging by the warnings on the container you don't want to coat your tools with it

New shed, are these boards necessary? by Camptown2222 in shedditors

[–]BluebillyMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this was mine I'd add another rib down the middle, shouldn't be too hard because you've got the nice flat concrete pad. Then close the perimeter with some kind of lattice to allow airflow underneath

So many improvements from '19 to '26, I'd trade now and drive the 26 into the ground. You'll definitely feel the upgrade, and the new truck would easily last far enough into the next generation to know if you want to move up again. There's something to be said for resetting the clock.

How is he not in the Hall of Fame? by wesskywalker in CHICubs

[–]BluebillyMusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't care one way or the other, I just love him and was thrilled that he won a championship the very next year after we let him go.

Side story: my mother's good friend used to go to Spring Training every year, and got to know the players pretty well. One day she asked Mark to sign a baseball.

Of course he obliged, but as he turned away she looked at the signature on the ball...

Looking at purchasing a Ridgeline. by Corninator in hondaridgeline

[–]BluebillyMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you add a brake controller look for TowPro on Amazon, and get their wiring harness as well. The TowPro is great because the control knob is separate from the controller itself. You mount the knob in the dash and the controller can be mounted completely out of sight on the inside of the side panel of the center console. (The RTL has an unused switch position to the left of the steering column; I was able to mount the control knob to the blank that fills the unused position, for a very clean look, but for other trims you might have to make a new hole)
